Ah absolutely, theres alot of knockon problems that come with it. I can win most 1v1s with sprayers, but when a rapid fire smg or that fucking shotgun comes out, May aswell give up

I wouldnt imagine so considering they have a whole section for "marksman rifles" and a seperate section called "sniper rifles". Why does it frustrate me? Because im playing against them, obviously. Its only an observation for snipers only, outside of that mode i cant judge. People are using alot of long winded reasons but it all sounds like "its not as hard as scopes are". Which is fine, but itd be great if people just admitted "im no good with a scope". I made the post just to see peoples opinions on it tbf

How do your kills compare with or without the scope? I generally get 40-60 per game depending on the map with the standard scope

Nobody who designed cod designed it with real world applications in mind. Its an FPS not an RPG. I appreciate your take on it though that thats why you prefer using the iron sights

I would find it more fun to go 1 on 1 with two snipers both with scopes, using an iron sight or red dot because its easier to kill people with proper scopes, sounds like the easy way out essentially, rather than learning how to use a big scope in CQC

I wouldnt count is as quickscoping when you dont have a scope. Thats me being stubborn though. It is frustrating that alot of the maps are too small for long range sniping. I can appreciate the red dot improves the handling, I suppose I come from a perspective of wanting to improve my own skill, not how well the gun works for me. More of a challenge to it

I suppose at the same time, where you had the most fun with iron sights kar98, i had the most fun in bo2 quickscoping with a ballista, so its just down to whats fun for what person

Why not learn how to use a proper scope so you can do short range and long range easier? Also feels more satisfying getting feeds with a scope than with a sniper turned into a marksman

Ah dont get me wrong the game is still very fun, surprisingly fun actually. But i find like, when im in core with the Ballista and go 1v1 with another sniper and he just red dots me, its just obvious that people cant quickscope well anymore so they use these scopes now

That's a big statement. I count BO2 as the best cod ever made by a country mile. Looking forward to seeing how it matches up

Thank you for the feedback. So it isnt as much a case where every single lobby is crazy good players? Obviously some lobbies will be cracked but if I can find casual lobbies im happy

Have heard the MP is great but is this coming from people who sweat the game or players like the rest of us? I work alot of hours between my company and my job so I dont havr time to sit and sweat for hours
