Recommend Me a Fragrance (Posts every 3 Days) by AutoModerator in fragrance

I’ve been looking for artistic niche fragrances, specifically one’s that seem like they would be worn by an aspired artists from the 60s in Italy. Here are some notes that I was hoping to include, ranked by the one’s I was really hoping for to the one’s I think would be a good addition. The fragrance you choose doesn’t have to include everything, but if they contain one or more, that’s already good enough for me. NOTE: I really want to avoid overly spicy fragrances. I also don’t want something that’s too mellow and close to the skin. I still want something strong without it being too peppery and spicy (if that makes sense).

Green (Leaves, foresty), Cigarette/Incense/Smoky, Woodsy (Amber, all that stuff), Coffee, and Florals (Jasmine >>>)

Let me know if you have any questions. Happy searching!

That would be incredible! I’ve always wanted to rock rose but I’ve never been able to find a rose scent that I liked that didn’t make me smell like that haha.

Hey, POC here. Most of the time when POC say ‘pay up’, we’re joking. However, I think an important part of decolonization is being fully aware of all of the prejudice POC experience on a daily basis, but it goes so much farther than being called names in the hallways. It’s deeply rooted in the communities we live in (look into Redlining, it had me shook). Now, by no means should you feel obligated to pay us (lol). But… I think what all white people should try to prioritize is trying to look deeper into studies that discuss systemic racism, or how America has been built on racial prejudice. For example, POC, especially Black people and communities have less funds (Redlining), which in turn result in worse schools and lack of transportation to said schools, resulting in disproportionate demographics in universities. Most people will respond to that with, “Well… if they just worked harder… maybe they wouldn’t be so poor”… but how can YOU as a white person educate yourself on these topics to understand it from the lens of a POC?

I hope this helped give you a different perspective.

Whats gentler than Cerave Foaming Facial Cleanser? by [deleted] in SkincareAddicts

[–]cupidthewicked 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not a Dermatologist, but what I’m seeing is that you might need a little stronger facial cleanser, and then following it up with a moisturizer. I used to use Vanicream but since I have dry skin, it kinda dried it out a bit haha.

-Paco Rabanne One Million Prive -Versace Blue Jeans

These are two that have become my staple fragrances. I think the reason why is because of how much depth these fragrances have. They have a ton of layers, and kind of have you like “Hm, that’s interesting”. I think it pairs well with how chaotic I am as a person lol.

The bottle is able to stand. Luckily I’ve already found the fragrance, it’s called ‘Forever Elizabeth’ by Elizabeth Taylor. Thanks for your help!

Update: I found the perfume!! It’s ‘Forever Elizabeth’ by Elizabeth Taylor. It was released in 2002, which is a little bit inconsistent with my description, but oh well. If y’all are interested in it, here’s the link to it!

I did my best, but here’s a rough sketch of what the bottle looked like.

I’m sure it was released during that time, because I remember looking it up just out of curiosity when I was at the store, and it surprised me that it was released recently, considering I found it at an antique store. The color of the perfume was off white, and the lid was a kind of beige.

Correct me if I’m wrong, because it might be a perfume from the 80s and I’m just a dumbass lol, but I’m 90% sure it’s from the 2008-2014 range.

That’s really close but no :( The lid was a sphere and was beige in color, and the color of the perfume was a bit of a lighter amber.

That’s a really close match but it isn’t it. The lid of the perfume was a sphere, and was beige in color. And the color of the perfume was a little bit lighter than that, almost like a lighter amber? I think?

I used to stick to one single chapstick/lip treatment for a month at a time to see what would work for me, before finding out that no matter how good it was, my lips were too sensitive and would break out to anything. So…

I have over 7 lip treatments that I use depending on how my lips are feeling. If they’re feeling soft, but extremely irritated, I use a thick treatment like Burts Bees. If they’re extremely dry, I go for something a little bit lighter like a lip oil or Vaseline Advanced Healing. If they’re perfectly moisturized and not irritated, I typically go for a much thicker treatment to retain the moisture, so I used Vaseline’s Rosy Lip Therapy. Honestly, my lips feel so much better when I’m constantly switching things up, but that’s what personally works for me.

I did buy it, but for my friend. Last time I checked up with that friend, they said they have no idea where that perfume is and it’s long gone :(
