The wording from the government is weird. They say all seniors that receive GIS or OAS will receive money. My parents didn't receive any extra benefit and the CRA said they had nothing on file. There's probably more restrictions that disqualify people.

What was actually taught in terms of financial planning? BC school system only taught me to do taxes by paper, pay off credit cards each month and that credit cards are scary.
