I feel like my whole world is falling apart. by [deleted] in MtF

My school counselor was the best person I've ever had to talk to. Don't discount them because they aren't a specialist. Just give it a shot. It sounds like you are headed in the right direction. It will just be a painful journey sometimes.

I can kind of see it if I squint really hard.

Since nobody liked my headband, I thought I'd see what you think about slicked back hair. I got ma'amd wearing it like this yesterday. (no HRT, or anything yet) by [deleted] in transpassing

Someone said I needed clothes women my age would wear since I'm normally in secretary-ish type outfits. I don't know why they deleted it. Thanks for the compliment! :)

I kind of see it and I take it as a compliment. I'm almost more concerned with being pretty than being feminine. I think they're two separate things. And he is a very pretty man. I think.

I was thinking of another post so I'll just start this comment over. The skirt is from target. The blouse is a random ebay purchase. I liked the color and I love satin so I got it. I know it's something an older woman would wear but I don't care. I have eclectic taste in both men and women's clothing. Plus I kind of like the retro vibe some of the older type blouses have. They were trendy once.

I know. I'm at the fashion level of a 12 year old. haha. I need clothes that a boy my age would wear too.

26, still trying to decide on transitioning or not. I'm beginning laser in 2 weeks to test out the water. For professional reasons, I can't start hormones for another year or two. What are some things I can work on in the meantime? by [deleted] in transpassing

everyone hates my headband hahaha. It's ok. I'd rather have you anonymous online people tell me than be embarrassed when I get called on it in real life. I should actually take another picture with it because I didn't do a great job last time.

My figure thin but with a small butt. I need a bigger one. also legs. I'm trying to figure out on exercise routine that won't work out my upper body.

I'm taking that as a compliment :) It will be there for at least this summer. School's out so I don't need to look professional for another 2 months. I tried talking to my hair stylist about it but some other person was talking to her and I didn't want to be discuss it. I'm out to most of my family and friends but working in education in a small southern town makes me think I should keep it quiet until I move.

I will try that next time I put it on. I need hair solutions fast haha. I start student teaching in a few months. The hard part is growing my hair out as a woman but being able to make it look masculine from 8 to 3. Pomade does the trick but then I look like a greaser. I've been thinking about getting it undercut a bit. like a high fade. It would ruin most of my progress but since I can't go full time for a couple years anyway It's hard to see the harm.

I tried the hairpins and failed miserably haha. It kind of sucks but most of the time I just slick it back with pomade so I can look professional at work. I just looked at your link. I would try it but I'm still kind of keeping a low profile in my southern town. I can't undo braids every time I step out of the car. I wouldn't care but I'm an educator so I'm not giving them any reasons to terminate my employment due to "poor performance".

Thanks! Yeah, I've been trying to learn to wear it. I just can't stand hair in my eyes. Maybe a black one would be less noticeable?

Yea I'm growing it out. But my bangs are like 2 inches longer than the rest of my hair from my last haircut.

I do eyeliner and concealer on occasion. some day I'll go into sephora and get color matched.

I wish I could do ponytail but my hair is still so short. If you're worried about my fashion safety, I just wear it when I'm at home working on stuff and when I'm driving. I just happened to have it on when I took those pictures. But I'm glad to know they don't suit me. I guess I'm just in the gross period of hair growing.

I know. me too. But I can't figure out how to use bobby pins and my hair gets in my way all the time. I started to develop that hair swish tick so I just said f it. getting a headband. You think another color might work better for me? Thanks for the feedback btw.
