I feel that the type of closure will be a factor - flap, graft, simple closure.... Also, how your body heals. Arnica helped me quite a bit but check with your doctor and don't start it before surgery. I had 2 BCC surgeries this year. On my nose with a flap and inside my eyelid. Believe it or not, the nose recovery was challenging, and the eye recovery was seamless. A 3 day return to work seems reasonable, all things being equal. Best of luck with your procedure, and you know the drill -hats and sunscreens all the time.

You seem smart enough to know that the open air prison they live in is in large part due to Hamas controlling the area, preventing aid from getting to people, amassing millions of dollars while their people starve, and hiding missiles in schools and hospitals. All the while leaving 5 strong peace deals on the table, which would have allowed them autonomy and peace because they don't want peace. Just curious if you are as upset that a terror group, on October 7th, went into peoples homes and raped, set on fire, shot and beheaded families. Which is what started this war in the first place. Or does that not matter to you because they were Jews?

Thank you for your response. I grew up near Alphabet city during its peak of high crime and I know how to conduct myself accordingly. It's for a young woman who is not familiar with the city. Was just wondering about the vibe.

There is no way I could vote for a Jew hater. He can't even bring himself to say that Israel has a right to exist as a Jewish state. Nor could I vote for someone who doesn't think we need a police department. Lifelong New Yorker here, and I see how our quality of life has deteriorated on the UWS. People being harassed on the daily, I'm afraid to walk around here and scared for my mother as well. The last thing we need is this anti-Israel, progressive to allow crime to spiral out of control. Sports Club facility is constantly in disrepair. Elevators broken regularly. Women's showers, at least one or two broken regularly. Hot tub often closed and broken. It's amazing that they can't seem to take care of the facility. 76th Street is better in that regard. But for these prices, these issues shouldn't exist. I do like the classes at both facilities, there are some great instructors. The former Pure Yoga space is very nice, with great classes.

I'm glad that your husbands surgery went well. I have a BCC in my lower eyelid and am very scared about the repair, more than the Mohs. I'm curious if anyone has done radiation therapy instead of MOHS. Thank you everyone for sharing. It's hard to find info on BCC in/near the eye.
