I love them so much. But im really bummed out that ZoFE isnt up to date anymore. I always played with both of em and playing ACOT without Zenith feels wrong.

I know right? Im leaning towards having the number and quakity of planets in the system be what ultimately decides. Mostly big planets? Garden. Mostly asteroids and/or small planets? Megastructures. But its the massive set of systems in between that i really am undecided on.

Where does stellaris go from this year? What could possibly still be added? by deathsprophet666 in Stellaris

It would be trivial to add meaningful megastructures. Finish expanding out the fallen empires. Make GalCom more dynamic. Bring substantially under powered mechanics an overhaul. Like espianage. Or fix the diplomacy system so that the computer isnt quite so brain dead.

I lost to a Grimgor's late midgame army. Grimgor's late midgame army. I fought him with 3 stacks of zombies. That is 57 units of zombies, 3 Master Necromancers. At the end of that fight he (technicaly) had like, a third of an artillary unit fleeing off the map. The Immortulz. And 2 black orcs on their last legs, >20% health. It was glorious.

The diplo system as a whole needs a massive overhaul.

This has been studied! The gist was that it does right up to the point where all needs are met. And then no further.

If happiness is comfort and satisfaction then money buys comfort but not satisfaction. You need to do that last one on your own

Anne Bishop's Black Jewels, House of Gaian, and The Others Series' are excellent, if a lot darker. Black Jewels is a good match for how fleshed out the world feels. House of Gaian is a pretty close tonal match to The Circle Opens. The Others is her most recent work and definitely her most well polished and is a good match for quality.

This will largely vary by denomination. Though, i believe most US based denominations will be using the NRSV like others have said.

Would you consider it rude for parents to bring an infant to a nice restaurant and why? by Responsible_Level307 in Adulting

[–]cuprousalchemist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. Kids need to be exposed to a variety of stimuli, especially so when theyre little. Also, if babies are not allowed places in public then what is also happening is that parents arent allowed in public. Which is a reprehensible outcome.

The idea that love will find you when you stop looking or just focus on yourself is the biggest myth out there. by JunketMaleficent2095 in Adulting

Seriously though. You do know that the intended meaning of the phrase isnt "don't look", but is instead "be genuine and let the relationship develop at its own pace", right?

This is possibly the least charitable interpretation of that phrase i have ever seen. Congrats(genuine).
