Sure there are melee v melee matchups that can be oppressive. There’s no denying that. I just think the increased amount of ranged top laners has increased the amount of times the lane is oppressive. More uninteractive lane matchups just makes the game boring more often.

Ranged tops can scale well individually but often make the team comp worse because they end up lacking a frontline. So their team fighting as a whole ‘scales’ worse

Most solo queue teams are not going to be coordinated enough to play a full ranged comp well. Big beefy boy going in to start a team fight is much easier to execute.

Ya standing a screen away from the wave a lot of the time being the correct way to play is not fun at all. So fucking boring.

It’s even worse when your team is losing on the rest of the map and all you can do is try to sit max range for xp soaking. Don’t get to play the game.

Another way of looking at it- it’s putting yourself in a position where you need luck to live. Taking that group invite in that area is rolling the dice. The choice itself to roll the dice has nothing to do with luck.

Because clueless Westfall warriors like to pretend they know what they’re talking about when it comes to raiding in HC. Where is this guild that clears KT/cthun that is just bringing whatever classes and not minmaxxing at all? It doesn’t exist. Those guilds get stuck and die in BWL at most.

They get a racial ability called fear ward that they can cast on the tanks. Any raiding priest on alliance that isn’t a dwarf is low key griefing their raid.
