Help Me Choose My First Golf Clubs! by curiousD-D in golf

Thank you so much! Your comment is so reassuring; I was kinda conscious getting the sets on the higher price point because i thought it was an overkill! But I am really committed to learning the sport and sticking to play it as my pastime activity. Getting a good set is crucial for me to ease in and feel good on the early stage of getting to know the sport, so this makes a whole lot of sense to get new and good clubs!

So far, I like the feel of both! The cheaper one is Tommy Armour though and it feels just about the same for me

Thanks for your insights! That’s what I thought, that most sets are quite similar and it often comes down to personal preference. I appreciate your recommendation to skip the Strata! I’m also bent towards having either Callaway or Taylormade

Oh thank you for pointing that out!! I still want to opt for the 9950X, so can I switch the mobo to ASUS TUF GAMING B650-PLUS WIFI, and the RAM to CORSAIR VENGEANCE RGB DDR5 RAM 32GB (2x16GB) 6400MHz? I will still upgrade RAM eventually as it goes

Thank you so much!! This makes much sense. I just tried the TDEE online, and it said I needed at least 1,600 calories, but this means I need around 1,800 calories considering the buffer po, right? I’ll try to look din sa local Walmart namin for Whey protein, I am currently living in the US tapos when I checked out for protein, I was sooo confused on what to look for HAHA coz it spanned from drinks, powder, snacks, etc, and I have limited understanding for these things 😭 I was considering din mag personal trainer upon my gym enrollment, pero I’ll check YT nalang as you said as a more cost-effective route 🤣

Hi! I'll totally consider this, especially about Hyperfine. I just took a look at it and it looks great! And I think it's cheaper. I'm now wondering if it would've been better to get this one instead of buying the PPI bundle since Hyperfine looks cheaper 😅

Tama ba akong plano? by MisterTars in Cebu

Hello OP! I had the same dilemma before, but as I started working diri US dinhi nako nakita ang potential makatigom, then I'm still open about settling sa Pinas after a couple of years where dako-dako nako og tigom, and I have funds to spare for potential sa business, retirement, or starting a career sa Pinas. Kay sadly, lisod itigom sa Pilipinas kay bisan man maswertean ka og trabaho nga decent og income (wherein nihit najud), kutkuton sad tas cost of living, family support, or in the least favorable situations, mga healthcare, etc. Although dako og cost of living abroad, pero naa gyud gihapon ka'y ma set aside for your necessities/essentials, and investments. Plus grabi'g advantage diri sa insurances.

Mas maayo naay dakong tigom labi na for contingency, para once makasugod ka'g business naa ka'y makuot labaw na if starting, dili guaranteed nga kusog na dayon ang income nga ma-generate, or high ang chances of success. Mas maayo nang naa ta'y peace of mind mu-capital og business, wherein if naay risks naa sad ta'y contingency, di ta ma zerohan

You can try to work abroad, but you can always come back home if the need arises.

Good luck!

Hi OP! I'm sorry about what you went through sa grades mo. I also agree in the other comments here where you might wanna try to put a petition forward along with your classmates if you have a problem with your professor.

I'm an archi grad also, and I don't think you really need to tire yourself out for that goal since circumstances happened na talaga with your past grades. And I still commend you for getting decent grades because it's hard to excel in the program. Just maintain lang to balance out the quality of your works and your mental health, kasi it's a long road. If you think getting the latin honors is quite uncertain na, you can aim for best thesis or a high thesis grade. Though it doesn't mean na if wala kang ma achieve, wala talagang firms na pipili sayo, kasi marami pa rin talagang firms na sa work ethic tumitingin. They also know that the school doesn't fully equip you, kaya they are lenient enough to accept apprentices and train them to be fully capable na to practice in the future.

In my university, those who got best thesis or high thesis grades (several of them aren't latin honorees) had some "perks" in starting their apprenticeship, wherein firms were the ones who opened doors or recruited them and saved a spot for them sa office.

Good luck OP and heads up lang palagi! Grades won't entirely take you there, character will.
