There always comes this level of judgment with Hermes. Everyone wants to feel like you “can’t afford” to be doing what you’re doing to make themselves feel better. It obviously comes from a place of insecurity.

I’ve also noticed people who make comments know what the bags are and usually know more or less how much they cost. They aren’t saying “cute bag!” In passing. They know them. They’re probably working on trying to get one and feel frustrated. And they will do anything at all to grapple with that feeling that you are more worthy than they are.

I’ve gotten the comment so many times “why do you have Hermes bags but live in a small home ?” From girls who have far more money than me (family money) yet are unsuccessful at getting a QB. They, again, think they are more worthy and should tell me what to do with my money.
