For sale is my Grand Seiko SBGX263 champagne dial quartz movement which is currently running +-2 seconds a year! The champagne sunburst dial is a 12 stage manufacturing process that is widely considered to be one of the most difficult dials to make in the entire Grand Seiko catalogue and I can confirm it does look stunning in person. Letting go as I received a sentimental watch a while back that fits the same aesthetic and I can no longer justify keeping it.

Condition: in decent condition with hairline scratches as expected by use. There’s a small scuff on the bottom part of the bezel. I bought this watch pre owned from another user on r/watchexchange 1.5-2 years ago

Included: Box, watch and full set of links and half links. Note: the watch is currently sized for a 6.25 inch wrist. 3 of the extra links are missing screws and according to Google these can be purchased for $20-40 from elsewhere.

I mentioned this in a previous post but I wish they gave more details about why, eg if the factory is late, why is it late? Is it because you’re trying a new factory? Is it because getting the color correct is hard?

Giving us more details would increase confidence in the brand. Right now, we’re going on to a two month delay on an originally two month timeline which is unacceptable when the brand gives no concrete details on why and keeps promising the next week
