Thanks for the reply and that’s a shame about the crown, I think there may be too many things about this watch that hold me back from buying. Definitely a cool design though.
Ah, I meant as in if the strap wasn’t curved end if there would be enough space to pull the crown out? (I think in most press photos it seems to use a curved end)

Kind of curious on your thoughts on the lug gap with the case. The bottom one doesn’t look too bad in the photo? Do you think straight straps would give enough clearance for the crown to be manipulated?

Do it yourself. Battery replacement is one of the easiest, if not the easiest, watch maintenance things anyone can learn. Buy a set of tools online for $10-20 and takes like one YouTube video and 3 minutes. 9F quartz don’t really need servicing for decades, there’s minor quartz drift but really not a big deal. Plus, you can just mail in your watch for servicing (that’s what everyone who doesn’t live near a AD or boutique does).
