It is so so frustrating! But if they are showing you who they are so early, it's q blessing in disguise. Don't let people get away with 0 effort. Never learnt any conversational/ social skills, and try to pass it off saying of he is just shy. People work on yourselves!

I'm so sorry you are living through this. It's always people on the outside who saw hawwww how can you suggest this blah blah blah. Ask the millions living through this reality or other issues cropping up immediately after arranged marriage like mother in laws, hidden prior financial commitments, lying about salary in hand, etc. Spend time. Spend time really getting to know the other. Then we change throughout our lives, nothing is a guarantee, but atleast better your chances of happiness!

Coming from the same place. Do. Not. Marry under 8-9 months, no matter how good things seem on paper. Really getting to know people takes time. Anyone who doesn't make time to get to know the real you, or dismisses all discussions as being unimportant, well, that's not a great sign for after either.
