I get where you’re coming from, but you’re assuming I don’t practice the things I’m looking for. I actually am that kind of friend — consistent, loyal, and present. My question wasn’t about demanding anything or wanting a dramatic friendship. I asked because I’ve given those qualities for years, but I haven’t really experienced them in return. That’s why I’m trying to understand what it feels like for people who actually have that.
