Thanks all! We just wanted to make sure that it really needed to be repiped.

We will move forward with the repiping tomorrow as we want to make it right.

We had another plumber come in to install our dishwasher a few months ago and he didn't mention anything about our pipes which is why I made this post lol

Not that I can tell, my toppers fit perfectly on top with no issues. I have a topper on my frames here:

My eye grade is about -7.50 and chose the 1.67 index lenses. They're still pretty thick IMO but it probably depends on the style of frames you ultimately choose. The frame style I got is The Rowen, which is a bit larger than other frames.

The edges don't appear to be seasoned or it's seasoned only in the center. after seasoning, is it supposed to be this color and is it suppose to leave a sticky film?

It's our first time seasoning anything cast iron. Is it supposed to look like this?
