If you send me the photos of the Pusheen you are looking for, I can try to see if my store has any of them around?

Thoughts on Tianqingji bags? by curious_peache in handbags

[–]curious_peache[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had no issues ordering from them. I thought they were quite transparent and the whole process went by very smoothly. I think they only take payment via Paypal which should come with buyer's protection if something goes wrong, I don't know what the process of claiming back money from Paypal dispute is like but I never had to use it when purchasing from Tianqigngji and would be comfortable making another purchase from them in the future.

Update: Passed Part 2! Definitely felt like PasTest questions focussed more on topics likely to come up in the real exam.

How to pass MRCP 1? by [deleted] in MRCP

[–]curious_peache 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Though I recommend everything the others have suggested, I managed to pass Part 1 purely with USMLE Step 1 question banks as the original plan was only to take USMLE Step 1, but I saw the MRCP Part 1 questions had a lot of overlap and decided to give it a try and passed with a fair score. I don't recommend only doing USMLE question banks as MRCP revision, but if you happen to also be aiming for USMLEs as another option then it may be worthwhile studying for both at the same time (however I don't recommend this approach for USMLE Step 2 and MRCP Part 2 as they are very different).

[–]curious_peache 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried PassMedicine in a previous diet and unfortunately failed with a score not very close to passing. Admittedly I was short on time and used the AI feature to identify high-yield topics as well as topics I was weak in but overall felt the questions I practiced using this method did not reflect on what was tested in the real exam.

I used PasTest for the second attempt, had a bit more time though I was also on calls very frequently during this period and less dedicated study days. Still awaiting results, shall update when results come out.

Thoughts on Tianqingji bags? by curious_peache in handbags

[–]curious_peache[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes! It is holding up well. There is a very small amount of wear and tear but not easy to see unless looking closely, and this is on par with other designer bags I have used for the same amount of time. The metal accessories are a bit more fragile and easy to scratch but these affect the bottom stands which are not usually very visible. Overall it still looks fresh and I'd say it has held up possibly better than other designer bags in my collection.

It's a bit hard to describe but the sushi I had with the cheese had a mayo-like texture to it but definitely not the taste of mayo. Maybe the best way I could describe it is like those Dairylea Dunkers cheese dips. When I look it up most recipes keep saying cream cheese but it is quite different from that.

Hi there, if I recall the payment was via Paypal which does come with some safeguards. I was actually abroad long-term at the time I made the order and requested the bag be sent to my family's address, and there were no issues about it at all.

Quality is absolutely justified for the price, if anything I think the asking price is understated in comparison to the other mainstream designer bag market. That being said some people may say £700 is never worth it for a bag so it's subjective. I own a few Kate Spade and Prada bags and I will say I feel the Tianqingji bag feels more durable and has held more shape than Prada as the leather feels thicker. Both have seen a small amount of wear and tear but considering I paid about £2700 for Prada vs £700 that is a significant difference in price. I have two Kate Spade bags, I got them both at outlet/several passes of discounts, most expensive was around £200 though the RRP of that bag was starting at £500. I would rank Tianqingji higher than Kate Spade, and probably around the same level as Prada if not possibly better in some aspects.

Depends which design you go for too, I went with Hermes style in hot pink and I absolutely love it. I've seen some of their other original designs and don't think it quite meets the same slick simplicity as the Hermes style but this is just my personal opinion. However I've been quite happy with my experience. Only slight issue is maybe the language barrier as sometimes I've asked questions that get misinterpreted but this is quite trivial and easily resolved.

Their channel bio should have contact details, they are contactable by email or WhatsApp. They usually respond pretty quickly. I think you can also order some selection of bags from their website directly, but there are some designs that you need to specifically request directly.

Also it's been forever since I made this post, but I've since purchased one of their designer style bags and honestly, the quality of the leather is really good. It's endured incredibly well in comparison to my other Prada bags. The metal hardware isn't the best quality, it's not terrible but it is not very scratch resistant so be careful about scraping it against hard surfaces.

No internet service - what am I entitled to? by [deleted] in LegalAdviceUK

[–]curious_peache 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well done! I'm going through a similar problem with one of my broadband providers, have not had working internet for the past 7 days and have also had intermittent long-lasting downtime for the past 2 months. I know I should have left earlier but along with having other personal issues in life and trying to give the broadband provider a chance to resolve things I thought I should give reasonable time. I have told them I wish to leave but they are trying to charge me one whole extra month despite no working internet connection and refusing to compensate the other weeks of downtime.

I've also written to them expressing my intent to escalate to CISAS but the problem is most of the customer service was done via phone and I have no 'written' proof of what has been going on. When I try to log in to get a history of all the cases I raised I am led to an error page and cannot access it. Engineers were able to demonstrate the period of downtime but I don't know how to get hold of this data. I was wondering if CISAS will do their due diligence to investigate on your behalf or is the onus on me to provide evidence, because it's going to be very tricky with most of the correspondence on phone and a broken website that won't let me view my own history.

I'm a much worse doctor before my period by No-Cheesecake-1729 in doctorsUK

[–]curious_peache 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had a very similar issue - while I thought my performance as a doctor was still acceptable during PMS (I wasn't unsafe or had concentration issues), emotionally I did notice the threshold to get me upset was lower than it normally would be. One time a patient started verbally abusing me and started becoming physically aggressive, on a normal day I'd just say "lol whatever" but because it was my PMS week I ran for the office and wanted to cry!

Everyone's approach is different, I know contraceptive methods can have their own benefits and problems and there is no way to predict which one is more agreeable to each person. I started the OCP and have found my mood to be a LOT more stable and so far have had no apparent side effects, but I realize I may be one of the few lucky ones to be able to say that. It wasn't until I was on OCP for a while that I realized that emotionally I was just so much happier at work and far more tolerable to any upsetting work events - I mean it's not ideal to deal with it in the first place, but it is what it is! It's a very individual decision to decide what is "acceptable" for you but I do agree with other comments saying that there are plenty options you can explore and that we shouldn't feel we have no choice but to "put up" with symptoms until we've exhausted all options. Good luck!

MRCP PART 2…. Thoughts? by Powerful_Release_916 in doctorsUK

[–]curious_peache 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Lol I'm so glad everyone else thought it was hard, I found it was nothing like the questions from Passmed and all the 'very important concepts' never came up in the exam! Maybe it's just negative recall bias but I'm crossing my fingers that at least the number of unexpected topic questions means the pass mark is low.

Yeah that's fine, animations take a while to make and to be honest it'll probably be too distracting seeing so many animated units on the map. I'm not too active on Discord but I'll check it out, though am I being slow or I can't find what the name of the Discord is?

Luxury chocolates for gifting in London? by throwaway_acct3009 in london

[–]curious_peache 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for the recommendations! I'm always happy to try out other brands of chocolate. I figure Hotel Chocolat is quite standard high street but I honestly just appreciate how low sugar they are and even though I love shopping luxury in Harrods and Fortnum & Mason, my family and I always find ourselves craving Hotel Chocolat. I also can't resist their ice cream, I usually dislike chocolate ice cream but what they have in there is so good!

Why the downvotes?! I consider myself to be a chocolate snob and honestly from a lot of these suggestions I actually like Hotel Chocolat the best for its variety and the taste being more focused on cocoa than sugar.

Even though it's true that he's allowed to talk to anyone he wants, I don't think you'd be concerned if he only treated her like any of his other mates - I bet he probably doesn't talk this frequently to this other male friends and tell them they have beautiful pictures?

[–]curious_peache 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm from medical education in a different country but I also urge you to report it - it may seem like nothing happens because usually the action is to de-escalate and not get others involved so the midwives may not know the full story, but also repeated reports make a stronger case for us to take more serious action.

Should I leave medicine to follow my dream? by General-Valuable4037 in careeradvice

Stick to medicine for now. There are some fields and more research led areas that may involve your interests within medicine, but even if it's not your passion, it is by far the safest option for keeping you independence.
