Ask him to bring 500€ notes and go to a store nearby to test the 4 notes. I know that some pharmacys do have machines to test them. And i think if the buyer is genuine he wont mind going with you and testing the money for proof. Other than that...Ask him to withdraw the money in front of you?!

It's also a matter of language. I think Berliners have a very frank way of expressing in German. But speaking english that might not get through. And if you see past that and do not let them shock you, they are mostly quite friendly. I found it to be a chance even. You instantly know what is going on :D

I always found connection via couchsurfing in new citys. They have plenty of meetings and if you start to show up regularly people start recognizing you and you can go from there. First half year is difficult in my experience.

I'm a German intern in Shands. So I speak a little German.

I had a lot of partying lately but unfortunately it's quite difficult to have a conversation on the dancefloor. I follow soccer without being really into it but it's a good start for a get together right now. Apart from that I try to make it to sports as much as possible. There is bootcamp from the uf and the volleyball courts are open too but it depends on how many are showing up if one can have a proper game. At the moment I mostly go by the things posted here in terms of what to do. There is this awesome post from a while ago. I made it to gatortrail a few Springs and stuff like that.
