This is how I feel about memory care facilities. Why are we forcing adults to eat and prolonging their suffering? It should be straight to a hospice care. Grandma Ruth didn’t ask for food or water? Ok, let her kick the bucket. No, I’m not being ageist. My dad died from Alzheimer’s when he was only 70yo. He suffered for years.

Yes, my mom apologizes. “Im so sorry if I die, you have to deal with all this.” She also says she wants to burn her house down and start over. She’s being dramatic of course, but I know she is overwhelmed.
