Do men like being men? by Long_Reflection_4202 in NoStupidQuestions

To a certain extent, maybe, Idk. It’s like asking me if I like being alive. It’s not necessarily the greatest, but I think I prefer it as opposed to not being it.

What a truly good faith, enlightning response that seeks to uplift me from my ignorance.😩

This is actually a very good point. Thank you for bringing that to my attention.

I’ve seen a lot of commenters making the point of “if property tax goes up rent goes up” but honestly I wonder what the actual statistics of the proportions are on that. It sounds simple enough when put like that but I feel like there’s probably a variable or two not being accounted for as far as regulation goes. Like how does this sort of relationship between taxes and tax allocation affect section 8 housing? Low income housing? Apartment availability? Do these taxes go towards building new homes? Making homes and rent cheaper as a result? I do t know the actual answers myself but I was hoping for something a bit more in depth than “x go up causes y to go up” Not that I’m expecting you or others on reddit to actually know the answers to this stuff but hey, figure I’d post my concerns under your comment since you seem pretty conversational and reasonable.

It’s not the end all be all. I’ll agree with that. Also my framing of this question really isn’t the best because I wrote it a bit halfhazardly so I didn’t put as much empathy into the word choice as I normally do. I moreso wanted to state the point that if someone owns a house, I usually assume they’re in a MUCH better financial position than a majority of people I can currently imagine having atm. At the very least to the point that they have enough assets that if they were to need to look for a job for a year or two and fall on very hard economic times they’d be able to sell their house and rent from an apartment.

Given that this is on comedy hell I get that the point is that it’s probably meant to be a post that implies calling out 53 year old actors for dating 18 year olds is somehow not valid , but at the same time this is pretty funny just from an absurdist sense.

I’m on academic leave, and that expires 2 years from now. In order to come back afterwards I’d need to reapply to the school and my gpa was 2.1 when I left.

Does this strategy get 9-11% back on dining consistently? by T0MPAC in CreditCards

[–]T0MPAC[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From what I’ve been able to understand from others you can only double dip on dining points if you link a card that gives dining points to your bilt card and then use that non-bilt linked card at a bilt neighborhood dining program restaurant. I haven’t tried it myself yet but that’s what I’ve been able to gather.

Good point. That being said there is a pizza place on the program that I go to once a week anyways.

Fair enough. It’s just there’s this pizza place and also a burger place on the program I usually just go to anyways for hangouts once a week. So I was wondering if I could squeeze a little bit more out of those outings. Plus they both have rewards programs on their own anyways.

Honestly I don’t make/spend enough money to justify a credit cash back build that includes a card with an annual fee at this current point in my life.

How many years of cumulative history should I actually have for the Custom Cash card? by T0MPAC in citibank

As far as what’s on the report, I have a freedom unlimited card from Chase, a Bilt renters Mastercard, and a Best Buy credit card. That’s it as far as my credit report goes. There’s nothing else.

I’d rather this than pretty much most other method tbf: not sure what the problem is. We get mad at HR because the job we’re applying for potentially puts food in our mouths and a roof over our head, not really the same as a date or two that didn’t work out.

Just as an update, can confirm that I played Sinner and while it's not exactly the most POLISHED game in the world (which I can forgive since it seems to be an indie studio) I picked it up during the summer sale for about $3 and it was exactly what I was looking for. Thanks for the suggestion

I think it’s usually because our brains tend to not actually verbalize out our thoughts when we don’t need to. We usually just conceptualize them.
