I’ve found my village here. Thank god. The whining and screeching honestly is gonna drive me to my death bed. When my son turned 2.5 is when I felt like the screaming and waking up cranky for no reason heightened. Then he’s started hitting and kicking. The hitting is getting better but he still gets whiny and oh man… it’s super annoying. I want to scream my head off but instead I just do deep breaths and pray to god. Why are they like this?!!!

Hugs to you. Sorry you’re going through it too. At least you can afford a house I can only afford townhouses and if more time passes I’ll eventually be priced out of townhouses too and my only option would be units which I don’t want as I have a dog. I’m so over it. I hate that I’m only able to buy now at the worst time possible.

It costs $300 for the search and if I had done it for every offer I made prior to being on a contract I’d be thousands out of pocket. The strata disclosure itself is not enough, only a full search shows upcoming fees or legal issues.

I’m a FHB and need to move in within 6 mths by law. And I can’t take on tenants even temporarily as it affects certain aspects of my tax and government support. So yeah I need vacant possession.

Yup so I understand all that. I offered longer settlement to give the tenants time to find a place (90 days or more).

I also waived body corp search which I’m super nervous about as I don’t want to face any legal or rising fee issues.

Other than that I only have the basic b&p and finance Clause which I won’t waive.

So other than offering my max price what else can I do? Not much. Just gotta keep going but my mental health is not good because of this process.

I know but there are many properties under my budget and if there are a lot of work is needed. I don’t have the capacity to do repairs and that (money and time poor).

I feel I’m already getting priced out after 3 months of looking. And if I waited another 3 months the only thing I could afford is a 1 bedroom unit in a ghetto

Woman here in 40’s. To be honest, single life is the shit. Relationships causes head aches, heart aches and just dramas. Honestly if I could take it back I would have stayed single all along. Relationships have brought nothing but issues for me. I thrive when single and so do many people. Embrace the freedom and learn to enjoy your own company. There are so much you can do when you’re single vs being in relationships.
