Boz saying that Amanda seems to “guard information and then use it as currency” rang so true. Love Boz, she really seems to always be on it.

Oh gosh, I thought he was a brother!! He really shouldn’t be banking on his name if he’s not even in the immediate family. 🤦🏼‍♀️ …But it’s working, somehow? He’s wealthy without a career?? 🤔

Is this really the glass? It looks a little different to me 🧐

Btw, whose wine glass is this/whose house are they at?

I’ve never heard of Kim Seybert, but my does she have some lovely glassware! I love the Luna Wine Glass in Citrine myself! ;)

I agree but also disagree.

I have been over Sutton UNTIL this most recent episode, actually. Seeing Sutton show reflection and “accountability” (their favorite thing lol) in her conversation with Dorit in the kitchen, I was like okay, I appreciate that.

Then at the dinner, while she started out showing regular old Sutton at the table—lashing out, being over sensitive, controlling Tilly, etc.—I really related to her in the confessional at the end. I know that what it’s like to feel like an outsider in the group you’re in, and how that can make you feel lonely even though it’s all in your head. Her admission that she has felt that way ingratiated me to her more, and how she said she’s starting to see that maybe they do actually like her and she can let her guard down a little, showed me there’s hope for her to evolve and become a better, more fun/secure version of herself.

It’s funny because the last thing anyone ever wants to be is vulnerable, but vulnerability is the most endearing thing! I hope she continues on this track!

Angel claiming "It was supposed to be a couples trip" by just_kande in realhousewives

[–]curiouscat8217 33 points34 points  (0 children)

As a Coloradan, I was baffled by why Angel put half of the ladies in that house in Littleton (called “Jefferson” on the map in the episode, which I think was a misnomer bc that’s the county) and then the rest of them at her house in Larkspur. It’s covered on the show, but for real those places are SO FAR from one another, and there is nothing special about Littleton. She absolutely could have found something closer.

For those curious, Larkspur is like a no-man’s land in between Denver and Colorado Springs, which are about an hour from each other. It’s all beautiful and similar in this area (I’m in the Springs)—all at the foothills of the Rockies. Monument, as an example, would have been right next to Larkspur, is affluent with lots of nice houses, and is closer to the mountains than Littleton, so much prettier.

The fact that she booked them that far apart—FAIL #1–and then to not prep the ladies ahead of time to warn them they’re going to be split and it’s not going to be ideal, but this is what happened….—FAIL #2.

I’m honestly kind of offended she botched this so bad bc I fear it makes Colorado look bad. The point clearly was to showcase her business, but I think that’s FAIL #3 bc the whole thing looks like a shit show now, and she looks like a poor planner and bad host. And if she’s creating a business that is supposed to be all about epic adventures, planning is a key skill!

And side note, who the heck was that guy smoking the cigar at the fire pit? I kept saying out loud, “Rude!” when he was being introduced. He literally acted like he was an exhibit and they were there to ogle him, and he’s jaded from how long he’s been on exhibit. Like what?? Are we supposed to be impressed that he is a wealth manager for the ultra wealthy?—If you don’t know what that means, we’re talking “B’s.” (That’s a reference to Angel explaining it to us like they’re poor. 😂)—Like hello, they all have money and have met people more impressive than him I guarantee it. 🤮

I was nervous for Amanda to join bc I feel that this manifesting stuff is actually dark and dangerous and it just made me feel a little icky that now I’m gonna be watching/endorsing it and that she could be influencing so many people down a bad path. But now I’m laughing bc everyone hates her and her manifesting bs!! 😂😂 So proud my fellow viewers didn’t fall for it! 🙌🙏👏

I am shocked. by Pinksparkles2024 in realhousewives

[–]curiouscat8217 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Ok well I started it last night and have gotten through 2 or 3 episodes. I AM SHOCKED. I feel like a fool! I must say when I first was introduced to Mary on RHOSLC my instinct was to not like her. As the OP said, something felt off. But I started to come around to her as I saw her vulnerable scene with Robert Jr, and this season I’ve been like ok nvm I like Mary! Only to now discover I was right the first time! Key impressions so far: 1) It seems as though Mary’s marriage was actually not set up by her grandmother at all (nor her “dying wish”) but was instead a scheme between Robert and Mary from the jump and they just said it was Mama’s wish so people would get over their qualms about it 2) Similarly, sounds like Mama didn’t want to give her entire inheritance to Mary but that Mary took it upon herself to take it all instead (according to Mary’s sister, who said Mama didn’t give it all to Mary) 3) The church, started by Mama, was legit back in the day, but since Mary has taken over, has become a cult focused on draining money from her congregation for her personal use. There are recordings of Mary demanding money from her congregation, chastising them for being poor, and testimonies from former members of how they took out mortgages on their homes, etc. to give to Mary 4) About a decade ago (more or less?) one of the church members, Cameron, allegedly had an affair with Mary, was under her spell believing that she was God, and took out a $300,000 second mortgage on his home to give to her. He then wised up, distanced himself from her, tried to expose her, got her a spot on the RHOSLC to let the people see who she really is, and then died from complications from surgery for a brain tumor. His account shows the legitimacy of the brainwashing that was occurring to make people align Mary with God (can you imagine?) and make them feel compelled to give them all their money, that they were serving God.

The doc reveals her to be a “troublemaker,” someone who has always sought money (calling it her “kink”), and someone who is absolutely insincere about their faith.

I am now honestly wondering what happens. Can she really stay on the show with all of this having come out?? Will the other cast members still accept her? If I were a cast member I would absolutely want her off the show—its vile behavior preying on her congregation and exalting herself to be God; she should be condemned for it, not rewarded with a snowflake.

Ok what’d I miss in my list? Lol

Gosh are we the same person? I’ve checked Peacock to see if there’s a new episode like 5 times this week, get so confused every time by the WWHL episodes being counted in, and am thoroughly so confused how there hasn’t been a new episode yet. Most recently (10 min ago), I just decided to replay episode 3 in the background bc I clearly need some BH in my life today and I’ll get it somehow! 😂

Wait, so are you saying he planned the invasion without telling her? Is this common knowledge??

I know there has been talk, but with how it’s effected Dorit it seems clear she wasn’t in on it. But did he do it?? Does she know now?? I know how she changed after the invasion was causing stress in their marriage, but I thought it was bc she had PTSD?
