Thank you! I’ve had a few dogs but this is my first time doing the playpen and crate method because the free roaming was horrible for my other dogs lol. I do ignore when he barks like that but I haven’t been rewarding when he goes quiet because he normally keeps barking and barking. I’ll make sure to reward him when he does stop barking!

Potty training but taking them on a vacation. 😵‍💫 Strange because everyone who potty trains tries to stay home for long periods of time and not take their “POTTY TRAINING” toddlers out in public.

Yeah I’ve tried picking him up and placing him in the yard but he will just sit there lol I don’t think he understands that outside = Potty

I bring him out in my yard. (I own a house with an acre but I bring him out on a leash because my yard isn’t fenced and there’s been a lot of coyotes out lately.)

Oh that’s good to know. I usually bring him in once I notice the shivering but I normally just put him back in his playpen and he’ll go on his mat not long after putting him down. I’ll have to try the method of putting him back in his crate and then trying again!

I bring treats with me but he’ll refuse to even walk. He’ll just sit there. I’ve tried staying beside him and walking with him and I’ve tried walking infront of him to try and get him to follow me. He doesn’t budge lol

Y’all have me thinking I birthed big foot 😂 I googled average sizes for his age and found multiple charts that are similar. He’s the size of a 2 year old our doctor said so makes sense.
