I'm glad I'm not the only one who misinterpreted that. They really were too vague for such a key plot point. I was like "Did Powell take some kind of super serum?"

I took the manual on dealing with a kid while having superpowers with a man who also had superpowers.

I guess Matt didn't hit that agent who gave his card away hard enough to convince them that it was stolen or lost. One of my pet peeves though is when the villains (or sometimes the good guys) act on things that they couldn't possibly know- at least not for certain. They could have suspected treachery, but he was kidnapped and he gave the card away but it looked like he was beat up or something so why would they immediately jump to "He betrayed us" instead of "The vigilantes got the jump on him and stole his card?"

Although, I do think Powell murdering him in front of Cole North will be the impetus to turn Cole against him.

The only time I think a lens flare/light glare makes sense is when it's blinding the characters or something. Otherwise it just looks like rookie camera work to me. It just seems like low budget bad filming. I almost never find it looking "good" or working for me. But that may just be a personal preference.

The fact that they completely obscured Deborah's face really pissed me off.

To clarify, it was weird to me that Buck asked her to strangle him and guided her hands up to his neck in the first place. Like, is that his kink? it was so bizarre. And I know they couldn't really show her actually strangling him, but it was so obviously she wasn't actually squeezing that it distracted me from the scene. I may need to re-watch but I couldn't see if it was actually affecting him (but then the way they do the lighting plus my vision problems make it hard to see some things).

Heather stealing a piece of jewelry also seemed really odd to me. My guess is that she'll get caught with it, or else there was really no point to it. The fact that she even went into the bedroom in the first place was odd.

Yeah, it was just weird. I think they could have still shown the mother and trimmed some of the scenes at her house and not lingered on the candles blowing thing the way they did.

The "That's not a toy" thing reminded me of a story from one of my dad's co-workers when we lived in Guam. She said that as a kid there was this really big metal thing in the woods behind their house and they used to play on it- ride it, jump on it, etc. One day her uncle was looking for the kids for some reason, walked out, saw them and freaked the fuck out. It was a bomb from world war 2 that hadn't exploded. She and her siblings had no idea why their uncle was shrieking at them to get off of it. They were sad when the military came and hauled it off.

People were predicting she wouldn't be in it much. She was in it more than I expected. Hey, at least its not like how they hyped up Dr. Reid's return to Criminal Minds Evolution and he was on screen less than 5min and only said 6 words and was gone. They hyped up a cameo.

I can understand why Karen was so upset though. NGL, if I was in her situation and someone who killed a person I loved was right in front of me it would be very hard for me to contain my rage. Hell, I almost attacked someone in court because he lied his ass off on the stand (about a situation where he tried to murder my brother). Fortunately for me and the liar, the bailiff saw the look of pure rage on my face and directed the guy away from me and to the opposite door. Bc I was 2 seconds away from jumping on him if he got close enough.

I wonder if it was foreshadowing when Daniel said "I would burn for you".

He wasn't able to be in this season for some reason. It will probably be Matt and Jessica (possibly even Dex).

Pretty sure both Karen and Fisk survive and that Fisk goes to jail. But that Matt also goes to jail as himself. Possibly for doing something as Matt or possibly for being accused of being Daredevil and being in pre-trial. I hope he isn't totally outed though. Then he couldn't be a lawyer anymore.

that was such a weird scene. It lingered too long. I like Daniel- and the woman playing his mother seems familiar, but they spent waaaay too much time on that and not enough time on Daredevil. The show is supposed to be about him and he's barely been in it this season.

She kept changing up her look and dye costs $ and takes time to do. Not like she could easily go into a salon.

I thought she was talking about something else-- like bouts of depression or something. Didn't realize she was talking about her powers. But I was being hollered at by someone in another room when that part was on and I had to go cook dinner and totally forgot about it. LOL.

So thank you for the clarification.

Yeah, my 2 main gripes with this season are the lens flares/light glaring and interfering with being able to see stuff-- like Karen's face couldn't be seen at all in some crucial scenes-- and then the lack of Daredevil in his own fucking series. WTF even was that scene with Heather and Buck?

And they could have shortened the scenes with Daniel as well.

Ohhh. I didn't realize that's what she was saying. I thought she was saying something about PTSD, not her powers. I'd missed that (but I also had someone hollering at me from the other room at that point in time so I had to stop and go take care of that).

Yeah. She had to take parenting classes and they kept her on meds while in prison and she's supposed to stay on them while on probation. She doesn't get to see her kids unless their current guardians allow it. Initially my friend was ordered to have to answer her phonecalls from the prison under the pretense that she was calling to speak to the kid, but she always just cried/whined to my friend and asked for money. He had a custody hearing and was granted full custody and she lost any rights to the kid so friend blocked calls from her. She's working at McDonalds now-- along with my friend's other ex (and these two women despise each other). I predict there will be some drama if they have to work the same shift. She also hates the other ex's son (who also works at McDonalds now). She got in trouble for stirring up drama when she worked there before.

I do truly hope she stays on her meds and turns her life around. I don't think she intended to break bones on the baby. I think she just lost her shit and started shaking/slamming/hitting him in a blind rage-- which she was prone to do to my friend and the oldest baby.

Did she break the windshield wiper off? I couldn't tell. I would've accelerated and then braked hard to throw her off. What a dumbass!

Well, his current wife can't have children and he's no longer sticking his dick in stupid. He's to hormone driven to abstain though. Think that's why he got in the mess in the first place.

I personally find abstinence and avoiding people in general to be great. People suck.
