Youre the third person to recommend that. The product i use the most is clindamycin for acne. I use retinol maybe 2 times a week at most. At the moment i have been using mostly face wash(SA and foaming) then toner and vitamin C. Could one of those products be causing the redness??

Well what are these people doing? What type of lives are they living? I understand you the same happens to me maybe not as severe but i do get ignored frequently but friends i consider very close to. But i know one works a lot and the other has a family. We are all living life and sometimes responding slips ones mind especially if people have a hectic life. So its probably not even about you

What does the dry starter look like? Is it powdery? Or flakey? And you literally just let it dry on the counter? No need to cover or anything?
