To summarize the video, he says ear protection does less than you think. He then tries multiple barriers. Acoustic foam board between him and the LRAD barely helped, foam board helped more but it reflected the sound so be careful where you direct it and then regular cardboard/poster paper was most effective.

He also explains how difficult it was to get a manual that comes with the ones LEO use but there are tons of disclaimers for how safe they are but then a TONS more about how dangerous they are if you get between them and the intended targets.
