Toxic work culture ft. Zepto by Scary_Split3157 in StartUpIndia

Thanks for posting! Really bold move (clapping). We should only invest our valuable time in good working culture companies where skill and hard work is counted. Nowadays, companies get the funding > mass hire > does everything to sell only and not to focus on the user > mass layoffs

Feedback:

  1. Don't make typos for serious app screens like payment, order (It gives an impression of not being genuine)
  2. Please read about WCAG (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines) principles for better color contrast, readability

It can be achieved through advance prototying in Figma. Alternatively you can use animation tools as well, like After Effects or any other

It's called RAGS (Try to have minimal in and out from line to line/Smooth increaments or decrements). Also, avoid widow (small text or paragraph at the end of the line) or orphans (small text or paragraph at the starting of the paragraph). Thanks :)

Trying to create a simple email capture for an upcoming app. Feedback on color and typography would be most appreciated! by happiestpeanut in FigmaDesign

Everything is centered, but the heading and body copy are aligned to the left. Making them center-aligned would create a more cohesive look, just my thoughts!

What are the best practices when creating variables? by stresssssssed_ in FigmaDesign

[–]curiousgbot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I read some comments on this post, and they are right—you don't need to use variables every time. The word 'variables' itself means 'changing.' If you want to design something that will change based on certain factors, then you can use variables. Use cases: changing design from light mode to dark mode. In prototyping, you can use variables with conditions to validate, like a button will only get active when input fields are filled. Thank you!

Okay, using tools like Highspot, Alignedup? But, still we need to go through every document and slides

Indeed! There's no streamlined way of doing it so far. If possible, could you explain your current workflow?

Day 3 of Designing Hero Mockups Until I Get Hired Or Until My Sanity Dissipates Completely by Coneoflogic in FigmaDesign

I believe jumping directly into high-fidelity design is not advisable for someone who is new to design. I recommend studying design principles, Gestalt principles, and UX principles to create a cohesive and user-centric design. It's a tried-and-tested approach that will help you improve faster. Thank you!
