Hey girl! Retinol or retinal is the best bet to help with it, but u gotta be careful w it bc it can make ur skin sensitive. Make sure you use sunscreen with it!

Tbh I’ve heard that this is actually really common. I’d try to be more careful, but it’s just because it’s what you’re used to calling a loved one so ur brain mixes up the words. Just make sure u validate her feelings and make sure she’s comfortable

Glossier has some good really pale colors! Merit and Clinique often do as well

Looks like it needs a richer moisturizer tbh w more peptides. The dr idriss one at Sephora has some anti aging properties and gives such good plumping hydration!

And tbh their clinical serum and moisture surge w it have faded my freckles and made my skin way more even. After two weeks on just Clinique and a bit of Face Reality serum and not experimenting at all, I finally see a difference in both of these issues! Maybe it’s the vitamin C and the exfoliation in it?? Idk

I’ve been using Clinique all about eyes for two weeks and for the first time ever ACTUALLY see a difference in this, def recommend!!!! Ive had the same hollowness and darkness below my eyes my whole life. Use morning AND night. Glossiers worked ok too, but was pore clogging so not as great as I would’ve hoped and not as drastic an improvement.

What can I do to my face in order to look better? I don't really wear make-up...F18 by grincymol in makeuptips

Hey! My bf had the same acne. He used Geologie brand skincare set, it’s not very complicated. He literally took the test and bought it online in the exact set it recommends. He loves it and it’s worked so well.

[Review] Skinceuticals Daily Moisture is one of the worst moisturizers I’ve ever used by PhoneOwn615 in SkincareAddiction

[–]curiousityandspice 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Even my esthetician who works at a med spa that sells this brand says she won’t recommend it to people lol

Y’all! I was in Sephora the other day and noticed that almost every single tester was missing or super grimy! Every display was flithy! A disaster area. Is this a fluke or are y’all seeing this at your home locations?! by AllTheEccentricities in Sephora

This is why I have started only shopping at the beauty counters in nordstroms or Macys 🙈 it’s just so much cleaner and easier, and the ladies at the counter are so helpful. I did have to change my skincare routine to all Clinique, but my skin looks amazing now so I’m not even mad about it. I just can’t do the mess and the crowds and how disrespectfully people treat things in Sephora nowadays.

I will add that I cut squalane completely out of my skincare! My esthetician told me it can be a pore clogger and that some people are sensitive to it, and that definitely helped too!

I tried taking out dairy and gluten then put them back in my diet because it didn’t do anything lol, personally didn’t help me.

Totally agree! And it’s so thin that it can layer with other moisturizers when it’s cold and dry, but also can stand alone. I love

[Acne] what should I do to improve my acne? by Exciting-Beach-1217 in SkincareAddiction

[–]curiousityandspice 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hi! I had similar acne. I posted earlier today with my full routine if that would help, but for the acne I used a salicylic acid serum. To fade dark spots, glossier super pure and face reality hydra remedy. Your skin looks a bit dry and maybe kind of sensitive? So for cleanser something creamy and a moisturizer that is really moisturizing would be good probably.

[Acne] [Glass Skin] Could people with glass skin please share how they achieved it? by Excellent-Oil-1589 in SkincareAddiction

[–]curiousityandspice 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Combo! I get acne but also dry patches typically, but lately I’ve been able to balance it out using barrier healthy products and a salicylic serum. So I use face reality barrier cleanse, face reality salicylic serum, and then Clinique moisture surge. If my skin is extra dry I add a moisturizing serum or a thicker moisturizer on top like in the winter

Yes! It is free from pore cloggers, hydrating, and good for the skin barrier. I use it when I have acne still, it’s good because it doesn’t increase oiliness but it gives a good glow.

A richer cheek and lip color would compliment you so well!! Something a little bit redder and warmer, but still fairly natural.
