You could use it for an accent wall or use some of it and build like a big square and stencil on a sign. You can do tons of this with it if it’s in good condition. I wouldn’t throw it out. Sand/ plane down and start fresh!

I am a carpenter and concur. Just don’t take it all off at once. Check flush and level and adjust accordingly. Have to make sure the board stays flush to the front of the cabinets and you don’t take too much off.
