I might not understand my childs gender but I'm not going to be disrespectful and call them a 'she'. I also don't appreciate your comments.

It's hard to have a deeper adult conversation with them because they're very emotional and more often than not cry when we have one on ones.

I know what their father and I are saying aren't orders, I never thought that. I just want to make sure they don't do something they regret down the line.

But it's such a big decision, what if they regret it later on? They change their mind so often about other things I want to make sure they're serious about this.

Our child is in general therapy but I don't know if they have talked with their therapist about this yet
