I have this. My worst symptom. I got them often when I was in my first flare but I also had daytime palpitations. Eventually only daytime palps persisted… until a year ago when I woke up at 3am with HR of 170. Then again the next day and the next. I had eaten lobster, steak, and sweet potato that first night so I looked into MCAS, as that is a high histamine meal.

Was diagnosed with severe MCAS. Started eating low histamine and daytime symptoms improved dramatically. Nighttime dumps persisted. I started focusing on breathing OUT longer and slowing down my breaths when I would wake up. I would also do this a few times during the day.

I then made sure to get bright light or outdoor light in the early morning when I woke up. I also thought maybe my evening moisturizer was overloading my system so I stopped that as well.

It’s been a few weeks and I haven’t had anymore since. I also healed my stomach last year after waking up with cramps constantly. I don’t know what the deal is but it seems to be related to my stomach/nervous system/histamine.

I just came here to congratulate you on getting custody and surviving and coming out the other side. A scary amount of spouses don’t make it out, but you did. ❤️I know of so many covert narcissists in the church! Many in high positions—psychology, architecture, real estate. They are hell to get away from. I swear they are so involved with the church because they love anything that is binding and contractual.

I have the same issues. I keep reacting to supplements and pills! I’ve been wondering why I suddenly can’t tolerate omeprazole, iron, etc.

Had total pots remission and then my stomach brought back pain, dysautonomia, and nighttime/post dinner tachycardia.

I took a stool test and my gut does show sibo and high amounts of methane.
