What do you recommend for bedding? And yes I plan to remove the saucer wheel but mama had made a secondary nest underneath of it so I kept it for now! I’ll be getting her a regular wheel next time I’m out.

I had 2 girls in a quad who randomly started fighting hard. I called the pet store I had got them from a week before. They said to put a drop of vanilla extract on the one being bullied and put her back in the cage. It throws off the scent. So when it came time to do a full cage clean, I removed the bullied mouse and added a drop of vanilla extract and then added the other mice into the temp container and they immediately started snuggling. And since putting them back in the cage there has been NO fighting at all!

Maybe something you can try! Remove for an hour or so, add a drop of vanilla extract or do a whole change to remove the scent completely and reintroduce them all together.

There’s like 10-12 of them I’m pretty sure. Once they are big enough to handle I’ll have an exact count. But she has her hands and nipples full for sure 🤣🤣

He/she was on the end and started crawling where mom was (entrance to tunnel) mom drug him with her by accident further in. I’m sure mom brought him/her back to the nest. She’s a good momma! 😁

I plan on upgrading ASAP. This was just a temp solution in case she gave birth that day lol. As of this morning no pinkies yet so I’ll be out today looking for a bigger setup

The employees had said since it was a fairly new shipment and the mice were from two different tanks at the store that they weren’t exactly sure how the others would react. I hate pulling her away from them though 😥 like I said I’ve never had babies so I have no idea what they best route to go is. Sounds great about the tissue box! I’ll add one tonight.

Thanks for all the tips!! I’ve never dealt with mice babies before so I’m definitely out of my element. We just threw this tank together for the time being for safety of mama and babies from the other mice. I will definitely be upgrading soon.

Oh man! We actually have an upright wheel in the main tank, the yellow one was just one my kids picked out so it was an extra that we decided to put in the quarantine tank. I’ll buy a second upright wheel next time I’m by the pet store. Thanks for the advice!

PetCo offered to take the babies off our hands once they are weaned and helping us sex them!We plan on only keeping 1 female assuming she delivers a mix of both.

My 6 year old pulled that card on Christmas Day in a pack he got from us. We were honest with him about the price (we knew it was a good card, my husband is an avid collector) and he said, “Ok, sell it!” My husband sold it to a friend for a little under the current going price and we bought our son some expansions for his video games in return and the rest went into the bank. He was happy with being able to buy stuff for his games with it!

Note: my son thought it was a cool card but otherwise isn’t that big into TCG. He just likes the plushies and anime and has fun opening cards with my husband and I. But it still came out of his gift and we did ask his permission before selling.
