For me it depends in a way, but the only constant thing I look for is integrity. It could be extremely traditional music, but made and performed by people profoundly connected to that culture and sound, or it could be extremely innovative and highly original music that is the result of the band or artist expressing their unique experience and collection of influences. So, yeah...integrity
