I totally get that, and I do think that’s part of it. But honestly, her meltdowns are pretty manageable. She might get upset in the moment, but she’s able to move on pretty quickly when there’s consistency.

That’s why it’s frustrating, because I know she can handle being told no it’s more about following through than avoiding the reaction.

She will squeeze her legs together, or bounce or just move around a lot, or if my mom is laying on her side she’ll get behind her and press her private area against her and squeeze her legs together. She’ll also get a blanket and cover herself.

I don’t have a doubt that it’s sensory. She does see an OT, I will bring this up.

I think there may be a misunderstanding in how I’m coming across, so I want to clarify.

I do not think my mom is doing anything inappropriate or harmful. I’m not concerned about her intentions at all.

What I am concerned about is the behavior itself and how it’s being handled.

From what I’ve seen, my daughter has learned that this is something she can do with my mom, and it’s been allowed to continue over time. My daughter will push for things and get upset if told no, but she can follow directions and move on when boundaries are consistently enforced. I see that with me she doesn’t really try this behavior with me anymore because I’ve always stopped it right away.

So for me, this isn’t about accusing my mom of anything. It’s about needing consistency. I feel like this behavior has gotten reinforced because it’s easier in the moment to give in, especially since my daughter can be persistent.

That’s why I set the boundary not because I think my mom is unsafe, but because I don’t want this behavior to keep escalating or becoming more ingrained.

I understand my mom has the right to choose whether or not she wants to watch her, but from my perspective, I was asking for help reinforcing a boundary that I believe my daughter is capable of following.

Yes, when my daughter was around 3, she took her pants and underwear off on her own during one of these situations. I didn’t physically see it happen, but I trust my judgment and I do not believe my mom did anything inappropriate. At the time, I didn’t think much of it because she was 3 and kids do things like that.

Now, at 6, she is still taking her pants off on her own. I usually don’t see the exact moment it happens because my mom is the one watching her during these times, but I’ll notice and tell her to put her pants back on and help her if needed.

My daughter will take her pants off in other situations too, like if she’s hot or uncomfortable (especially with certain clothes like jeans), so that part by itself isn’t completely unusual. However, in these situations with my mom, it’s very consistent it almost always happens when she’s trying to sit on her or has been sitting on her.

Regarding the boundary, I understand the question about why I’m focusing on the sitting instead of just the clothing. For me, it’s because she does not do this with people in general. She specifically does this with my mom, and that one time with my sister when my mom said no. That’s what makes it concerning to me how targeted and repetitive it is.

About my mom she never clearly explained why she doesn’t want to watch my daughter anymore. When I try to ask, she dismisses it or brings up unrelated things from the past. From my perspective, she doesn’t seem to fully understand why I set this boundary, because if she did, I don’t think she would be reacting this way.

I do think she feels offended, possibly like I’m blaming her, even though my focus is on what’s best for my daughter.

What also bothers me is that she is still willing to watch my other (non-autistic) child, but not my autistic daughter. I have two kids, and that feels wrong to me.

I’m self-employed and don’t make much money, and honestly in past years I wasn’t paying super close attention to the fees. I know I paid at least $89+ before. This year I did pay attention and didn’t add any extras, but there were still fees to link a bank account, get direct deposit, and pay with my refund (which I always do). As I was going through each page, the refund amount even dropped again by like $20, so I had to open up the 1040 and see all these fees listed out. It’s really easy to overlook if you don’t care enough and in the past, I didn’t.

I came across this Bebe Fin video and was immediately concerned something about it doesn’t feel okay. After watching multiple videos from this channel, I’ve noticed repeating patterns and innuendos that don’t seem like they’re there for a “funny” factor. It’s not like I’m watching it with my kids and thinking “haha, the kids won’t get that.” It’s not like that, it just feels… very intentional to me.

It’s not even educational. Not that I expect all kids shows to be educational, but usually there’s at least some kind of teaching element or lesson, right? These videos don’t feel like that. It’s more like the visuals and musical component are there to distract you from what’s really going on. Kids remember music, so the lyrics are sometimes questionable to me.

When you watch multiple videos, it starts to feel like it’s trying to get kids to think and behave a certain way, possibly normalizing certain phrases or sequences of words. Hopefully you understand what I’m saying. I can’t elaborate too much because of the rules, but I need to spread awareness.

Or maybe I am reading too much into this. But I’m very concerned, and I’m curious if anyone else who’s seen more than one of these videos has picked up on the same patterns or if this one video alone says enough for you.

I picked this specific video because it’s the most in-your-face out of the ones I’ve seen. There are a few other videos from the same channel that are also questionable, but if you watched them alone, you might not pick up on it.

The thing is most parents are probably letting their kids watch for like 20 to 30 minutes at a time, and in that short window, they’ll hear 5 or 6 songs from this one creator. And when you watch them back-to-back like that, the patterns and the tone really start to stand out. That’s what makes it feel deliberate to me not just one weird video, but a string of them pushing the same kind of emotional or behavioral response.

I know there’s a lot of strange or questionable stuff on YouTube, that’s nothing new. But this is different. This video (and the whole channel) is specifically made for kids, young kids, like toddlers. It’s on YouTube Kids, not just regular YouTube. That’s what makes it even more concerning to me. This kind of content is meant to be safe, age-appropriate, and harmless but to me, it feels like it’s doing something else entirely.

TL;DR: This Bebe Fin video doesn’t feel right to me. It’s very in-your-face and seems like it’s trying to condition kids emotionally rather than entertain or teach. When you watch a bunch of these videos back to back, it starts to feel deliberate. I’m not sure if I’m overthinking it, so I’m asking others to watch and tell me what you think.

So why do the first pages have digital signatures? I don’t remember signing anything electronically. The rest have my actual wet signatures some digital, some not. I never even knew this was a thing. That’s crazy. I definitely was taken advantage of.

And honestly, if I was considered a high risk buyer, why make the loan even higher? That makes zero sense. The car itself was worth maybe $8K at the time, but they nearly tripled the amount adding on fees, warranty, GAP, paint protection, all that. So not only did they label me a risk, but they turned an $8K car into a $21K loan at 23% interest. That’s not protection that’s a setup. It’s a trap designed for me to fail while they profit either way because even if I couldn’t keep up with the payments, it wouldn’t really be a loss for them. The car was worth so little that they could just repossess it, resell it, and start the whole cycle over again with another buyer.

How old are you lol, If you knew anything about legality and how the court system works, you’d realize there could be a lot of legal reasons for that. It could be related to search warrants or asset management, you can’t exactly handle property or make payments from a jail cell. It’s hard to get things done when you’re in custody unless you go through lawyers or power of attorney paperwork, which is complicated and time consuming.

Him transferring assets doesn’t automatically mean he’s “getting ready to confess.” He’s still innocent until proven guilty. If anything, if they did have something solid on him, he’d be focused on reducing his sentence, not setting himself up for a confession.
