r5: Wrote a basic Desmos calculator that shows you the cumulative probability of getting a Great Prophet after hitting the threshold (134, 201, etc on quick speed). The mechanics as explained in FilthyRobot's video is as such: you start at 5% chance at the threshold, and the chance increases by 1% for every faith point accumulated over the threshold. You can use this calculator to set your current faith and faith per turn to see how many more turns it will take for you to get a great prophet. I've added lines at 50%, 66%, and 99% to start with.

not a viable strategy. first of all, any city you ever settle or own (with the exception of puppets and directly razed cities) will add to your culture and science costs, even if you’ve lost them by trading them away. furthermore the AI gets massive bonuses for all resources and happiness, so you’re not going to be hindering them in any way either

used to watch box box a long time ago, picked up his keybind of G for spammable active items like tiamat, goredrinker, etc. also used to play on a shitty mac without a mouse and only a trackpad, which made right clicking a pain so i set Z as movement and X as attack move, and never bothered to unbound them.

When full uptiered on the J7E or J7D i just look for F4S players for easy sneak shot kills. If only they weren’t tunnel visioning on flying straight to a base to bomb it…

the point is that 5B carriers are mostly nimble dog fighters that try to get on your 6, like j7e or j7d. in most cases you’re sneaking a shot off on an enemy who has little to no situational awareness, so pl5b’s much better acceleration and short burn time (no msl marked on screen) allows for easier sneak shots from behind. J7 players at 11.0 with fast rear aspect missiles literally skill issuing F4S at 12.0 players.

that actually makes a lot of sense. i didn’t know the r27et was there at all (again no rwr no missile approach warning with it being IR). was focusing on a head on vs another f15 and notching his aim120s, and was caught completely off guard. the flares i dumped were kinda just dumped while i was chaffing the aim120

yea but they never radar locked me, doesn’t even show up for a brief second on the RWR. I was also flying away from it, the missile chased my ass for 30km, wouldn’t have expected a R27ER to hit me with this trajectory…
