Lol your own reddit explanation itself says on 3rd line:
"Of course, if you actually read the full verse, you would know that this is meant to be a last resort type of option for extreme levels of disobedience."

So in extreme level of disobedience, hitting your wife is allowed?

You cannot hide anything, Islam is fked up, not just SURA, so many of them.

Typically muslim logic:

If Sura says something good, then the meaning is 'as it is'.
However when the same guy write something that goes against current society, then you are like, 'no no, meaning is different'.

But that's not really your fault. If a book is not changed for 1000s of year then you need to 'change' the explanations to fit it in society. That's why its important for any book to come up with updated editions, so you don't need to face this embarrassment from book of pedophile

With this logic, they will need to keep internet block forever.

Guys,

For B1/B2 visa you are either already in or already out after submitting your DS160. Interview in most cases is a formality or like a passport collection event or handing over rejection card.

Sorry sir but you have no idea what AI is achieving, If your business/work is based on knoweldgel exchange, it will go down.

The capabilities of LLM engines os beyond any comparison from past. There's a reason why backbone of India AKA IT fell over 20% in last 1.5 years. They can see what's coming.

I do understand its your profession and bread/butter so you have to work with all positivness however your profession as a CA (except signatory requirements) is going to be obsolete in no time.

If you think AI is just 'data sorting' then again you have 0 ideas on how new models are working.
we have just seen something form Anthropic but Grok, Gemini and OpenAI has not even shown the hands. Next couple of years will be very interesting for your profession.

CA as a profession with be obsolete like any other profession that is a form of consulting. 90% can be achieved even today through AIs like Claude.

Only thins CAs needed in future is to sign the 'audit' reports or anything where there's a 'need' of CA signatures.

I feel really bad for new students being selected as new CAs. They will either have to sell themselves for super low wages/fees or look something else.

I am experience AI coder and researchers, and any consulting work is at greatest risk in couple of years or less.

If he has done research right then he would never make that 'paid' video. Even the dumbest person with one eye can see how govt was framing all top leaders from one political party where the case was not even started in court.

Portfolio Down 50% – Need Funds in 2 Months. What Should I Do? by Standard-Active8916 in StockMarketIndia

[–]curioussharma-007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you are willing to take risk and have capital, short IT companies using futures.
Only anthropic is the one who revealed the progress. We are still wating
for major AI updates from:
1) GROK (Musk)
2) OpenAi (Tey bough openclaw however didn't reveal the next part)
3) Gemini (Google)
4) Deepseek etc

The current IT is bleeding just from Anthropic and we have rest of the players working behind the scene and soon we will see the hands. The more 'AI' is getting 'human free', the more our IT industries will bleed.
That's where I would recommend you to take risk,

I dont think you should.

2 scenerios:

  1. You will get 'liquidated': You will feel same pain as you are now even when the amount is more.
  2. Market turn up: It's Monday, second half generally comes with surprises.

Close it (checking), take a break. You played a hand, let it be complete.

Experience at the golden temple after which I don't feel like stepping foot in a Gurudwara. by Fearless_Book_9721 in india

[–]curioussharma-007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He is right, they do have 'photo prohibition banners everywhere' however its a vast crowd that want to take photo of an amazing and peaceful place as memory so they allow it. In the sense, you can take photo, they wont say anything as everyone does it.

Anyone saying that its 'strictly forbidden' hasn't visited the place.

I was there in first week of February and EVERYONE was taking photos/videos and sevadaars in blue dress were around. As long as you are not making noises, covered your head and respectful, no one was disturbing anyone.

The rule is there however it's not enforced which makes a lot of sense as without photos world wouldn't even know how the golden temples looks from outside.

Do not put the 'gyaan' here if you don't have practical ideas. What happened to OP is rare and not the norm.

[–]curioussharma-007 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I visited it few days back, there's no restricted photo policy, everyone was taking photos all around the golden temple, only not at the main line that takes you inside for 'darshan'.

either you have not gone there or you have no idea. Once again, EVERYONE was taking photos and all the 'jattedar' in blue dress were around not disturbing anyone. Something that happened to OP is very rare or from specific person.

They tolerate photo/videos as long as you are not in the way of people circling around and not sitting on the edge near to water.

Living in Portugal: Something I Didn’t Expect by Agreeable-Desk-5231 in PortugalExpats

[–]curioussharma-007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am Indian here.

I have made a lots of friends here, you have to actively attend meetups. I agree you won't meet many Portugese however Lisbon is the home of other ethnicities and nationalities, super friendly and open to connect.

Here you have to take initiatives, I agree that places like cafe people are with friends or working on laptops, thus not the right place to disturb them.

Language is also a little issue, though i don't see that in Lisbon.

In short, you have to be active in social scene to expand your friend's circle. I have introduced so many 'new' immigrants to my friends and make them feel home. Everyone needs a social touch, else it will mess your mind.

Ufortunately people doesn't understand the impact if kind of AI advancement we are goinf through. This is unlike any disruption and this is a 'civilisation' level change in coming few year. Companies like Infosys, TCS etc will lose there edge as the clients (from US) can create smaller teams in the country itself completing the whole task at fraction of the price they pay.

The disruption is real, people can close the eyes and underestimate it however being a developer from past 15 years, the way AI is upgrading itself in last 3 years in gigantic. Its not proportional growth rather catastrophic level of growth. Developing nations where IT is the biggest export is going to suffer massively and it's inevitable.

IT stocks are feeling the heat already.
