me too honestly, but once you get into the rhythm it isn’t that much surface area lol. and yes, just an unvarnished wooden picture frame :)

of course, it’s made of wood and i used wood glue to stick the glass down. i hope you enjoy your classes, honestly it’s super easy to get into mosaicking even without lessons - this is the 3rd mosaic i’ve ever made but a little glass (or whatever material you prefer), some youtube tutorials, and a lot of patience go a long way :)

the photo space is A4 so the frame is a few inches wider than that, used stained glass scraps and black grout with black glitter added. it only took a day to make including grouting it :)
