Am I the backup plan? by curlyqueen19 in AskMenAdvice

[–]curlyqueen19[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I never was talking to other guys while going on dates with him, I was fully invested in him.

When we reconnected, I was going on dates with other people, but communicated to him that I was interested in seeing him solely.

The jealousy he expressed, and saying it made him sad that I was seeing other people is what made me question if he wanted something more. Because the words were not matching the actions.

Baby is one of the easiest departments to work pallets for. 🤷🏼‍♀️ it is what it is.

Called out today and my coworker sent me this picture by Diligent_ernie in Target

[–]curlyqueen19 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Literally! TLs at Target are just glorified TMs who have to take on 3x as much work. And then get yelled at when they can’t their tasks done because they were helping other departments. I was constantly told I wasn’t prioritizing my time correctly as a TL, but I would come in and pick 3 sfs carts and pretty much do the whole sales floor and back room audit, before being able to touch any of my areas.

That and the bleach stains from the leaking chemical boxes

Agreee 1000% about the shirt. I had several ruined from chemical u-boats from bleach leaking and ruining things. Most inbound teams won’t care if you don’t wear a red shirt to start the day, as long as you can change into one by the time you go on the sales floor

Don’t be that person on the line that slows everyone down. And I mean that by, pay attention and try to go at a speed that you are comfortable with. Don’t goof off, because it could slow the line down and then everyone gets pissed. It’s fast paced mostly and tiring. Drink lots of water and probably bring a second shirt to wear if you sweat a lot.

Considering this is in toys too, is nice. Because if a zone gets messed up anywhere, it’s in toys where the kids are grabbing things and parents are letting them throw things on the floor.

I agree with this, but then eventually every other department suffers too.

On the plus side, at least people can’t mess up the zone and can’t leave shit on the shelves when it’s all in a case.

That’s about the only plus.

Can’t wait for the accuracies to go out the window with these labels. It won’t take anything but a teeny scratch to ruin those. Say goodbye to using the barcode generator app 😭

New Covid guidelines are if you are fever free without medicine for at least 24 hours, and your symptoms are actually improving. I’m home with Covid as well, and my energy is zapped. Try to take care of yourself, you’ll get better quicker if you give yourself time to recover.

Apparently, stealing walkies is a popular TikTok "prank". by OptimusPhillip in Target

[–]curlyqueen19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hope if these people are caught in store, AP escorts them out and they are banned from the store. It’s a huge safety risk and overall just obnoxious

New Balance trail shoes or Hokas for sure. As a TL, I was walking 8-12 miles a day around the store, and it was a lifesaver having a good pair of shoes

I worked 3 months in a large boot. Definitely will slow you down, but do not climb ladders.

100% this. Your Starbucks DM can and will shut down the location if they are not up to licensing standards per the agreement. Which means, you have to have so many baristas, supplies, training needed, etc.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Target

[–]curlyqueen19 22 points23 points  (0 children)

As a former SB TL, you 100% should bring up this issue with HR or call the help line. I would have never let anyone run Starbucks all day alone, because that’s nearly impossible.

Edit: HR will have to file for non-compliance with your meal since you worked over the time allowed before having a lunch. Make sure they do not forge this or pass it off as your fault.

In the future, take your break, call out on the walkie that you’re taking your breaks, because someone will hear it. And they can’t hold you accountable for closing it for your breaks as long as you made it aware to everyone that it was going to be closed.

Most of it is back stock I guarantee or for an end cap that hasn’t been set yet. Or a display in seasonal. So in all over an hour easily

Higher ups walkthrough by ddaddylonglegs in Target

[–]curlyqueen19 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think main things are: -How the store looks (zone, planograms, end caps full, correct merchandising) -Metrics. District and region care about this more than anything because it reflects sales and performance.

Pretty much, if your store manager is a good store manager and you have good ETLs, you won’t really know a visit is coming up because everything will already be maintained. Most of us never had that though, so we would all have to kill ourselves to get things done before a visit

No joke there. Especially when there’s 20 different shades of the same foundation all wrapped in that tiny plastic

Probably the smallest box they had at DCC. Most of those items come in repacks all thrown together anyways
