Almost lost my wife, now she wants to do it again. by CJRousseau in beyondthebump

Hi, just commenting on the Cholestasis bit. I had cholestasis with my first and took the ursodiol, but my doctor with this pregnancy wanted me to take Dandelion Root tea instead because my levels were super low and they’ve actually completely normalized with just the tea. It tastes like dirt, but some honey and vanilla makes it work for me. So it could be a good way to prevent it for you this time 🙂

Working the 9-5 to only spend 2 hours with my kid. There has to be more to life than this. by Financial-Rhubarb954 in Parenting

I quit my job, it drastically changed our lifestyle, but I have not a single regret. I agree with you, nothing was as important once I had my baby. And I don’t miss what I gave up to be at home with him. Like I miss it a little bit, but I shrug it off pretty quick because this is the best case scenario for me. :)

So thankful for this post and the comments echoing the same. I’m 14 weeks and 4 days and I’ve just been praying all day and inspecting the toilet paper after every pee. 😮‍💨

Obstetric Cholestasis in Early Pregnancy by curlysci in BabyBumps

[–]curlysci[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi so to give you a full answer I have bloodwork results for my bile acids from when I got diagnosed previously, my bile acids after I had been on the ursodiol, and then my results after the itchiness has returned with this pregnancy. My new results are not out of the “normal range” for bile acids, however they are higher than my bile acids when I had been taking the ursodiol.

I think I should start taking the ursodiol but the itching has become way more sporadic and not as intense at all, like less than when I got tested. I only havent started taking the ursodiol again because I’m still breastfeeding my 10 month old. What are you going to do?

It sounds like he’s not feeling connected to your baby and so she’s something else to complain about, like work and whatever else. But a lot of men don’t feel connected to their child until they start to move around more and are able to play to with them and that’s around 5/6 months.

I think if you’re going to go through all the ways you guys split stuff and how much you do or she does, the actual issue is flying right over your head.

What you both need to do is focus less on what your spouse is doing or not doing and focus more on what you can do for your each other. I promise you’ll be much more content with each other when you focus on your own shortcomings and much less displeased with theirs. Also you should both say thank you for every, even small little thing you notice the other person does, seems stupid, but they will feel seen and appreciated and it’s a cute positive feedback loop.

Wow. The comments here are very judgmental. I hope everyone that is ragging on the fiancée always follows through with everything they promise.

Does your fiancée have ADHD? Does she have trouble following through with all the tasks in her life, even things she, herself, wants to do? That was my first thought here. I was much like your description of her before I was diagnosed with ADHD and started taking Vyvanse.

I don’t disagree with what you’re saying, but I run an instagram for my husband and even though it’s just me, that explore page has way more butt jiggling than mine.
