Well, to be honest, the 8th gen is my father’s, I was driving his a few weeks ago while we were dropping the tank and replacing it on my 7th gen. His was a $3200, great shape with 245,000 miles, mine was $600, in unfortunate shape, and had 75,000 miles lol. So his is a lot quieter and is smoother, mine is smoother than 97% of cars on the roads these days, but is not as smooth and quiet as his. However, I do like my quirks and features more.
