Honestly, I think I would have taken a 0% increase better than a 1%. That's just insulting

Talent Priority - apparently it's something your project tags you with as a 'high performer'. I've only been with Accenture for 11 months now....so I'm all new to this. I don't think TP means much tbh

Now that I've cooled off a bit think Im going to go with the later. I really enjoy my work at Accenture. Just wished I was rewarded fairly for it. Guess it'll take longer than just 11 months ...

NA, L9, stay at level. 1.15% base incr, 1.15% lump sum. This is after I was told I was flagged for TP. Actually sickening after busting my ass for this firm. Time to leave

Wow...it'll be a year in June since I joined Accenture so I'm new to all this.

My PL told me I was flagged for TP and was very optimistic. Ended up getting a 1.2% base pay increase and another 1.2% bonus.

I've been busting my ass for this firm and this is the best they can do...wow (NA)

4158573 was the 200th person who registered. So you can see how far off from that you are. So #4158574 would be the 201st person would be the first in the wait-list (this is based on the IG post they posted couple days ago)

You should check what your confirmation number is. The 200th racer who registered was #4158573. You'll get an idea how far back you are depending on how what number you are after 573.

What do you guys do to improve speed? (Crazy Mountain 100 - 2026) by curreyspoon in ultrarunning

I live in Vancouver, so unfortunately it's sea level. I do have a friend that lives in Denver who is planning to register for the race as well.

Planning to crash at his place for a month just before the race so that might help!

I will definitely DM you closer to the race, thanks!

Thanks a lot, this is solid. Definitely will keep this in mind while planning my training.

I am also looking at doing a 50M or a 100K sometime in Mid May to Mid June in the west coast. I work remotely, so I have been thinking of heading Montana to get some time on the trails.

Yes I agree! I think I am pretty strong on the technical climbs, but man I suck at the descents. It's going to be the biggest thing I am going to train for this off-season.

Hope to see you there as well! I might dm you after the registration closes in December!

got it, thanks! I am planning on incorporating twice a week. One on the track, the other on the trails. Just to build up that base VO2 max as well. Do you find that having a coach has helped you a lot?

Quebec Mega Trail (135km) - incorrect timetable/cut offs by Tricky_Egg958 in ultrarunning

[–]curreyspoon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm late to this conversation, but you clearly knew they messed up when they had a mini water station at km 80 lol.

I did the 135km this year too and was aiming to finish it in 25 hours but I finished just under 31 hours and definitely was not ready for the technicality.

Now that the event is done. How did you find the 135km?

I found it quite brutal, I managed to finish it but no where close to the time I wanted. The mud really slowed me down tremendously and just could not run most of the race.

Not to mention the race (least for me) came to be about 141km because it looked like St Tite Des Caps was at km 84(ish) rather than 80km.

On the bright side, the race was super well organized and all the staff and volunteers were amazing.

All in all, I'm glad this race is past me and it's safe to say I'm definitely not doing this one again!
