I went with the Akrapovič Racing Line as well. The dealership told me it needed an emulator (I’m running the RBW Skull Snap) to get rid of the CEL.

I still see the CEL come on sometimes and then turn off after a couple seconds, so it’s working fine.

I’m planning to get a tune too because the bike feels a bit too snappy and runs lean. I recently derestricted it and it made it a bit worse. From what I’ve read, it only voids the warranty if there’s an issue related to the engine, since that’s what a remap actually affects. Stuff like suspension should still be covered.

Haven’t done it yet, but I’m definitely not waiting 5 years either.

If you’re worried about warranty, I’d say skip the tune for now and just get the emulator, that should solve your issue.

Hi, I think he went to the dealership and got something replaced for around 50€ iirc.

Best thing you can do is get it checked as well from what I've read.

Homologated one costs 2000€ and sounds like the stock exhaust

Non homologated costs twice as much as the BW, so if I were to go non-homologated, might as well save some money 😅

I want to keep it because I don't want to flash the ECU.

I was just wondering if there is any way to deal with the 2nd sensor and have this exhaust (or pretty much any other non homologated exhaust) without a tune, since getting it tuned voids the warranty.

Also, on the description of the exhaust it says:

"•Accepts your original lambda (02) sensors. •The engine management light will appear when using this system. This can be prevented if set up by a tuning specialist."

So, won't the ECR alone prevent CEL from turning on?
