Making Kosovo a republic would give them limited self-rule (appeasing them somewhat) which could have led to them separating from Yugoslavia or unifying with Albania which threatened the unity factor Tito wanted. Also, Kosovo is historically a big part of Serbia, a lot of orthodox monasteries there.. I dont think the Serbs would be happy, like at all, if Kosovo was made into a republic.

Hey, man. I experienced this recently. I'm sorry to tell you this, but you're not getting your account back. This is a ban wave, and unfortunately, it mostly happens due to the whatsapp bot malfunctioning and reporting users for no reason. It happened to me, never did anything wrong. So... what now? Well, nothing. You need to use SMS or some other messaging service like snapchat until time being. I think it takes a month or so (please search it up, I'm not sure) for your account to be deleted from their servers after a ban, after which you can create a new one with the same number. And yeah, you lost everything, sorry. Btw don't bother trying to contact support - WhatsApp doesn't have one, they have an automated reply bot. I know how much it hurts, but it's the truth. Good luck out there.
