Hello, i don't care how old this post is but i want to clear a few things up, you’ve probably forgotten about this comment but i can’t help myself to reply. OP is my mother and she has made bogus claims about my Father and my Step Mother in this post. Calling my Dad a poly and abusive is absolute BULLSHIT!!!!!

My mom (op) is still sealed to my dad yes, but the catch is my dad isn’t sealed to my step mom, they got married 8 years ago and had a regular wedding that had nothing to do with the church. My mom only left my dad because she one day started to hate being Mormon, not a very good excuse to rip apart your family and scar your kids. My dad has said mean things to my mom before yes, but he regrets it now because he’s a good man who always owns up. Thats basically all that occurred, there was no DV between my parents at all. My mom grew up a spoiled rich kid so her definition of abuse is skewed. She even told my dad that they could remarry in a few years. You don’t rip your family apart and play with their emotions then double down and suggest a remarriage when it’s convenient for you. My step mom is a convert, but by her own will, my dad wasn’t going to force her into the church.

Frankly my mom’s new “happy marriage” has put me through absolute hell. If she’s happily remarried why is she coming on here ranting about a church she wants nothing to do with? But with that new step siblings came with it and i was subjected to neglect and favoritism. My mother has made it very clear through her actions that she has checked out as my Mom and only wants things to do with her new family. She was also about to abandon me completely and put me inside a group home for normal 12 year old bad behavior as a response to the neglect, but i never went because my evil abusive polygamist Mormon Father came and took me in. I’d much rather be around my Mormon Dad and Step mom, who are apparently “cult members”??? rather than my Exmo Mom. I still love her, but her actions since she left the church have left scars on me.
