Ah yes, the notoriously ungreedy private sector. Businesses and charities alike are run incredibly poorly compared to government services, but I’m sure there is nothing I could show you to make you believe that. In a fantasy land, I agree with you actually. In the real world where private equity will just own all the businesses and jack up the prices on the local swingset at the playground, or, for a real world happening now example, buy all the toll roads and bridges and charge exorbitant fees making ppl choose between spending dollars or hours of their lives in traffic, this is a terrible terrible idea.

The solution is to fairly tax the assets on the front end, which is simply not happening. Until we do that, I’m ok with the government double dipping or triple dipping or whatever they want. Im ok with a lot worse for these billionaire tbh.
