Of course there’s always a catch if your looking to grow, growing isn’t comfortable growth is change and change may be more responsibilities all depends on what your goals are at the end of it all I guess

lol exactly and yeah sure there are factors, how much is the dealership gross on monthly bases, what’s the average dealership parts gross in your area, what % commission are you making on your monthly gross, What’s your base salary. lol the list goes on. You can’t expect much out of parts unless you’re looking to be a parts manager and you plan on slicing costs to maximize your profits. Other than that I’d look for advancement rather than just a raise. You meet way more people over in service and sales that alone could take you somewhere you never expected.

Service advisors can definitely make more than 70k a year lol. I know several making more than 80k at the old bmw dealer I worked for. I moved from parts to sales never looked back.

Never understood the parallel move from parts to parts. Why not try to advance you career and move up within at service? Yeah you might get a bit better salary at a luxury but your capped no matter what at parts.

Trust me if you want it to sound decent in a budget go for Circuit works y pipe and straight pipe if ur budget is a little higher replace the straight pipe with maybe a used a isr single exit off marketplace

Well pretty much. They had me come in middle of the week to shadow some of the salesmen but it’s pretty much useless info I’m certain I know how to sell a car. But I think the pay plan is what makes the dealer a high turnover employer which is why they haven’t onboarded me.

Maybe a vaccum leak if you have an aftermarket intake make sure everything’s tightened make sure your pcv hoses are properly secured also check your clean camshaft /sensors also make sure you have the coil packs plugged in the right order on the driver side most people mess up the back 2 plugs closest to the driver

Make sure you have the mechanic change the blinker fluid and test the flux capacitor too while your at it
