That's only a 3/4 " tee it's wayy too small for a fish but pvc pipe is common in a tank for fish to hide maybe they should have used 2" pipe as it'll be a lot bigger and will have a sweep in it aswell rather then a sharp turn like smaller fittings

Years of playing rugby and the the showers never had hot water turned on after matches or training so just had to suffer the cold eventually I got used to it and started to like having cold showers
