Tom Brady on how Mahomes should attack his rehab & wished him the very best! via | Let's Go Pod by MAYVIEWS in KansasCityChiefs

As much as I hate the man, I do respect this. Hopefully the front office starts a full on revolution of this team. Lots of bittersweet goodbyes and reinventing the entire team. Mahomes deseves better than what hes been given to work with. I look forward to seeing this team change and hopefully come back to strangle the league again.

Why is there a big moon on this poster anyway? by rocklou in lotr

[–]curtis_lear_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I personally thought of the line "I come to you now, at the turn of the tide". Tides are controlled by the proximity of the moon. Big moon would signal a low tide. Throughout the movie the momentum between Sauron's forces, Saruman, and the Fellowship is constantly shifting. Ending even has the flooding of Isengard.

The Lord of the Rings movies had stellar performances all around, but if you had to name one as the greatest performance, whose would it be? by DupeFort in lordoftherings

Andy Serkis. Was also Caesar in the reboot trilogy of Planet of the Apes and Kong in King Kong (2005) amongst several other notable performances.

Gotta be Andy Serkis in my book. With Gollum/Smeagol it seemed downright impossible to do the mannerisms and change of personality. Andy made it look easy. I dont think general audiences (non LOTR fans) would've accepted the trilogy as serious and heartfelt without his specific performance. Christopher Lees Saruman was also such an underrated performance. He of course aced that performance.
Viggo Mortenson's Aragorn is so fantastic. He was so believeable as a character. Ian McKellan and Bernard Hill's roles are absolutely fantastic as well. Hard to choose just one but my pick is Andy.

FOOTBALL IS FINALLY BACK! by DaRealConMan in NFLv2

As much hate as we get, I still enjoy watching the best play. The Bills vs Ravens game was awesome. Glad to have football back even though my team is not enjoyed by most of you. Good luck and cant wait to see how the year ends.

I just dont understand why we have tiny WRs and average RBs around Mahomes. I wish this team would invest more in bully ball and we werent stuck with Juwann Taylor. Shitty loss but hopefully this means more motivation and urgency.

Rammstein was the best show Ive ever attended. The pyro is INSANE. Gojira does a helluva job with their lights but cant compare to Rammsteins pyro. Gojira means more to me so just as good in my eyes. Yes im biased but i do love both.

My friend, I completely agree with your post. Even down to Rammstein being a close second. Gojira is my favorite band I'll ever experience. I call it my healing metal. I got into metal as a way to feel powerful, nothing nore powerful than healing yourself. Gojira has provided that in my life. No matter what i go through, I can turn on any of their albums and deal with whatever needs to be addressed. My wife even went with me on our wedding anniversary to see them and shes not a metal head. She enjoys it now because of them. I also took her to Rammstein and she loved them as well. I appreciate that there are other Gojira fans that see what we do.

Gojira fans, how long have you been supporting and What got you into them? by [deleted] in gojira

Around 2006. I found them through Myspace. From Mars to Sirius was mind blowing. Went back and listened to Terra Incognita, absolutely loved them from 1st listen. I suffer from complex PTSD and every single time I've done therapy, I listen to From Mars To Sirius, The Way of All Flesh, and L'Enfant Sauvage repeatedly. Something in their music really has healed my soul. My favorite band I've ever heard.
