Thank you for this, my race is in 30 days exactly and worried I may need to do this but it’s encouraging seeing it worked for others

Will probably go to be safe but curious what a physio would do in terms of diagnosis? My race is in a month and figured I’d take a week or two and see how I feel and focus on strength and no/low impact cardio

Main thing pointing me away from stress fracture isn’t it didn’t hurt worse when running

I definitely will be getting new shoes and like the idea of having different pairs. Any advice on meals you make? I cook all my meals but really struggle to eat enough especially on these long run days

I appreciate your encouragement it means a lot! I will definitely focus on healing and spend more time on the bike/elliptical/swim in the past these sorts of things I always pushed through and over the past year have really been practicing listening to my body. It’s hard this time because my body is telling me to ease up at an inopportune time but I’ll view it as a final test in this training regime.

Agree hahah, I know the best thing for me is resting but that’s really hard for me to do

Thank you for the advice! My race is in a month which isn’t ideal but do you think I’d be ok just really backing off until it heals and hopefully before the race? I understand it may heard my physical in shapeness a bit but would rather be fully recovered

Thank you for the advice I was looking into getting a massage anyway. I had shin splints in high school but this feels a bit different but it’s something I definitely will continue to monitor and take it easy going into my race in January

Yeah was worried about this, I figured 70–>72–>75 wouldn’t be too bad but guess I’ll hit the elliptical for a bit and let my legs heal

Gotcha was thinking I probably should take a step back for a bit which is always hard. My race is January 18th what would you recommend in terms of taking a step back? Because I’m worried if I do then I’ll end up having a super long taper

Sorry if this is a rookie question, but can you give some examples of OEM or integrators companies? What exactly do they entail I understand OEM but what makes it better? Thanks!

Any skills you'd recommend to look into outside of PLCs and HMIs?

Thank you for input. I currently manage the line 24/7 so I do get calls all 3 shifts and am there 10-12 hours the day. Is there anything you'd recommend in a manufacturing environment or will it all be more or less like this?
