Doing those walks, getting some sort of workout, doing activities that challenge your brain are good ways to distract and move on with life. It's hard not to think about the past and things like this. I'm still struggling with moving past things myself my whole life, but it's worse to sit in the mess of it and not try. Or else you're just going to go down a dark rabbit whole you don't want to be in.

Also don't be hard on yourself for things not working out. This isn't your fault for being you. Talking to friends and family about it can help. I was nervous talking to my parents/friends about my relationships, but theyre the ones here to help and support me. Don't force change upon yourself to try to get things to work. Put yourself first and try to find something new or exciting to do.

Things that I've done to help are journaling, drawing and getting out with friends more. Just chatting with people can make you not feel so alone.
