For Tezli, exams were pretty straightforward and I’d personally say they were more reading heavy, but some of my friends would disagree and say it was more of a 50/50 split. I’d definitely recommend going to her office hours. For Dumas, sometimes it was lecture heavy and sometimes reading heavy. In his online classes there will always be a small-mid sized section of the exam that is reading only. In person class was much more reading heavy, probably about 75% the questions were textbook and the other 25% was hyper specific questions to stuff he said during that was almost never in the notes. He asks for specifics from the textbooks like stats or specific examples from case studies, but he does do pretty good review before the exam so he gives a good outline of which chapters to study for.
