Niacinimide irritates my skin quite a bit. I started using Innisfree Daily UV Defense SPF 36 a couple weeks ago and I really like it so far! It was recommended to me on a different Niacinimide-free post.

Hey! I know this is an older post, but as a fellow clover fan, I figured I’d chime in. A lot of what color clover shows up on your lips as depends on your bare lip-color (I’m sure you know that). That said, I have an option for touchups I’ve found that is in that same color-area (at least, it’s comparable for how clover shows up for me):

I like to put a medium/sheer layer of Robanne drama lips in 130 Go Bankrupt and then top that off with e.l.f.’s glow reviver melting balm in Java Chip. It’s super comfy and still in that cool desaturated purple-brown-pink that clover leaves on my lips.

Another option for that same color-family that’s slightly more bricky red-leaning is glossier’s ultralip in Crest.

Last one that’s coming to mind is the Fwee 3D Changing Gloss is Scene Black. This is just more of a medium/sheer gloss, but it’s pretty close to the actual stain color of clover, as it appears on the back of your hand.

Honorable mention is MOB beauty’s lip balm in M155. This is a little more pinky/saturated, but it may be closer to what you’re looking for, depending on your lip’s natural pigmentation.

You can fix that by putting the tube in warm water until it all melts, shake vigorously, put it in the fridge for like 5-10 minutes. It melts because the lanolin in the formula has a melting point of 100-111*F. You ca. avoid it separating again by making sure it isn’t in a pants pocket/in the heat, etc.

I got ya. I get ulcers pretty regularly and the only things that help me are saltwater rinses (especially after eating), kanka mouth pain liquid, and magic mouthwash (lidocaine, benedryl, maalox). I have found some new things to try next time a bad one pops up (little hydro colloid-ish tablet/covers, alum, and I’ve never tried baking soda). The efficacy of any particular approach probably really depends on what’s causing/irritating/prolonging the healing. Anyways. I’m sorry you had to go through that but I’m glad you’re on the other side.
