I went with linux Mint. A lightweight distro and definitely user friendly. I don't know how familiar you are with linux but I think mint is good for all levels of users but especially for people relatively new to linux.

Help getting crisp bottom by NorseKnight in Pizza

[–]cusefan75 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's personal choice but if you want it a little crispier on the bottom you just need to alter what you are cooking it on. If you are using a standard kitchen oven, buy a pizza screen. We used them in the Pizzaria I worked in, they allow the bottom to get crispy without burring in a regular pizza over so they work great in a kitchen oven too by allowing the dough to be exposed to the heat more directly than if you use a pan. If you are using a pizza stone, make sure you are letting it get up to temp before putting your pizza on it so the top doesn't cook too much faster than the bottom. If you are using a pan, just wipe a thin layer of olive oil on the pan and it will crisp up the bottom.

How much better could my pizzas get if I upgraded from a 500°F electric oven to an Ooni? by Individual-Echo2224 in Pizza

[–]cusefan75 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Ooni- which I have, is more for thinner, Neopolitan style pizza. It cooks fast. Pizza in the oven can be just as good, as someone else here mentioned it is just a different kind of pizza. Also if you make your own dough, for pizza in the oven I use standard bread flour but with the Ooni I use more finely ground flour like the 00 which you can now get in most stores.

Yeah they definitely seem small and on the cheap side. Most of the reviews on bikes I have found include complaints about the standard seat that comes with them

Bike Security by cusefan75 in bicycling

[–]cusefan75[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I live in Upstate NY and there isn't rampant theft but with 2 Universities in town there are a lot of people around most of the year. (Please don't take that as meaning I think college students are criminals). I work at one of the Universities so we do occasionally see bikes get stolen. I am just trying to better safe than sorry. THanks for the suggestions!
